"not recommended to eat raw" - but not impossible
Reaper Leviathan Sashimi - "Reaper mandibles broken open, taste and texture similar to crab. A hearty meal."
Water Value 5
Food Value 125
Health Value 45
(ray-finned eel-like fish like the reaper can often be toxic although an animal the size of the reaper has to have something edible you can cut out of it, I figure the mandibles could be like crab legs)
Sashimi Deeper Waters:
"Scans suggest this organism is inedible" - harder to work with but still doable
Ghost Peeper Sashimi - "Its diet of deep sea corals and vegetation has given the ghost peeper an unusual flavor. A light snack."
Water Value 1
Food Value 5
Health Value 5
(I'm going off the assumption for this one that peepers and related species like the oculus their poison-jellyshroom cave relative take on some of the property's of what they eat, that perhaps the deep corals and/or plants they feed on are inedible and that as a result ghost peepers scan wrong due to a toxic mucus on the surface of their skin like real trunkfish but that with proper preparation some small scraps of meat could be salvaged from them like poison dart frog legs)
Grazerfish Sashimi - "Texture is similar to squid but tougher, special care is taken to keep bladder intact. Almost entirely devoid of flavor."
Water Value 2
Food Value 3
Oxygen Value 20
Health Value 3
(Again I am assuming their "inedibility" comes as a result of what they eat this time I'm treating them like fugu where its a matter of cutting out the poisonous parts but saving the meat, I am giving them a higher air bladder than their shallow water counterpart to account for the higher pressure at deeper depths)
UNRELEASED ADDONS
(These are addons that I am working on but have not yet released as they are either unfinished or are difficult to justify like irl puffer fish fugu "inedible".
These have no uploaded file yet and will have details on my thought process for why you can eat them anyway despite their descriptions saying that you shouldn't or cant)
Sashimi Return Of The Ancients:
Coming up with flavor text, testing and getting screenshots for the modpage here
I'm working on the 5 types of Alpha Peepers (and possibly the baby garg) any ideas for how they should taste is welcome
Sashimi Rising Waters:
Not started yet
If you have any mod addon recommendations/requests feel free to let me know and I will look into them when/if I get the chance
The assets used in this mod are placeholders as I lack the skill required to make new ones to my own liking. If you want to make textures for these items you are welcome to and I would love to see them as an additional addon:)
