IMPORTANT! This mod uses BepInEx (Below Zero) and Nautilus (Below Zero). You must install these to use this mod. The mod supports Vortex, but you must use the latest version of Vortext and the Subnautica Below Zero Support extension. Just unzip the mod into <gamefolder>\BepInEx\plugins, or let Vortex do it's thing.
SeaTruck Dock Recall BZ
Lost your SeaTruck? Can’t be bothered swimming out in the cold, dark ocean from the comfort of your base? Well, we’re here to help!
With SeaTruck Dock Recall, you can recall the nearest SeaTruck back to any SeaTruck Dock base module, direct from the console.
Features:
- Works through the existing console attached to any SeaTruck Dock base module.
- Recalls the closest SeaTruck within a configurable range. The default is 500 meters.
- SeaTruck Autopilot will guide the SeaTruck home with a number of configurable move presets:
- Teleport - the least “lore-friendly” option will simply teleport the nearest SeaTruck to base.
- Smooth - the most “lore-friendly”, this option will try to pilot the SeaTruck smoothly home by applying natural force to the SeaTruck and its modules, as if it were being piloted.
- Fixed - similar to smooth, but uses direct movement rather than physics, so it’s not as smooth as the “smooth” option above.
- Multiple SeaTrucks can be recalled to different docks at once.
- Movement and Rotation Speed can be configured in the mod options, as can the Maximum Range.
IMPORTANT! This is currently an “alpha” preview version of the mod. There are many bugs and missing features - see the list below. Navigation in 3D space is not a simple problem to solve, and while the framework of the mod is fairly solid, the nav mechanisms are currently very limited in what they can do.
Known Issues
- No pathfinding, so anything blocking the SeaTruck will cause the autopilot to fail.
- Sometimes the SeaTruck won’t trigger the docking sequence and will get stuck in the docking tube.
- You MUST leave lots of room around the entrance to the docking tube. Otherwise the SeaTruck will not be able to maneuverer into the dock.
