About this mod
Lets you put decorations anywhere. Yes, anywhere. Doesn't matter if they're normal decorations, rugs, wall decorations. You can place them anywhere. On your farm. In the water. In another person's house. Smack bang in the center of Withergate. MIGHT BREAK YOUR GAME, IS ONLY FOR FUN, BACKUP YOUR SAVE FIRST.

This mod exists purely for fun, and should be used at your own risk. Do not use this on your main save file without making a copy!
Like the name says, Decorate Anywhere allows decorations to be placed anywhere.. really. They might clip into other objects and/or overlap other objects. They might disappear entirely. You might not be able to get the items back. Your save file might instantly combust. Your placed item(s) might block your movement.
Possible future improvements that could be implemented if there is demand:
I can't stress this enough: DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR MAIN SAVE FILE WITHOUT MAKING A COPY! Also, don't place decorations that you can't afford to lose.

Possible future improvements that could be implemented if there is demand:
- Toggling off the "snip to grid" when placing decorations
- Allowing you to control the z-position of the decoration (e.g. the height of the decoration in the 3d space, so you can control exactly how it overlaps other objects or where it shows)
- Allowing you to pick up objects using the mouse
I can't stress this enough: DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR MAIN SAVE FILE WITHOUT MAKING A COPY! Also, don't place decorations that you can't afford to lose.
Installation:
- Install BepInex 5 Pack if you haven't already.
- Unzip the DLL file into your BepInEx plugins folder.
Multiplayer Support:
- Works fine in multiplayer, too!
- You can place objects anywhere in a multiplayer world even if the host is playing a vanilla game. Exercise caution when sharing a world with players that use this mod. "With great power, comes great responsibility." - Uncle Ben
Known Issues/Bugs:
- Decorations can disappear from your world entirely. I've only seen one instance of this happening with the lake on the farm.
- Occasionally, decorations won't show up on the correct layer (e.g. plates on tables, paintings on walls). In these cases, press F1 and disable Decorate Anywhere (or exit the game and remove the mod entirely) and the decorations should show up on the correct layers. You may re-enable Decorate Anywhere afterwards.
- If you accidentally misplace a decoration and it disappears, you can try to swing your pickaxe vigorously in the general area. In most instances, the decoration(s) is retrievable.
- If you swing your pickaxe at objects that are clipped or overlaid into each other, you'll end up picking up all of them.
- Decorations that can store objects inside of them like a fridge can sometimes copy the contents of a clipped, adjacent decoration (e.g. a fridge might duplicate the contents of another fridge that it's clipped into). It's unknown at this time whether this is caused by the Decorate Anywhere mod or another bug in the game.
- There's probably a lot more bugs so please tell me if you find any!
