Description
Find a mod you like but it replaces something you want to keep in your shop?
Want to play with multiple mods that replace the same game item?
Use this tool to easily rename the necessary files.
In a nutshell, it renames the files in a mod to match the file names of whatever game item you want the mod to be applied to.
Note: This only works with mods that use the Texture Replacer mod.
It was made and tested with mods which were designed to work with, and require, Texture Replacer.
Instructions
- Download latest release and extract contents of zip file to any location of your choice (don't recommend desktop or TCG game files location
- Do the same with whichever mod you want to do renaming with
- Open the index.html file via file explorer or by dropping said file into your browser of choice
- In the new window/tab, select the category and "apply mod to" selections for the in-game product type you are changing to
- Now using the mesh/texture/icon/name file selection, select the original mod's files that fall into these file types
- Once all selections have been made, simply click the "Rename mod files" button. This will automatically change the file names to the new product type file names and download it as a zip file for you
- From here, just simply install the texture replacements as per usual (i.e. drag and drop into the TextureReplacer folder)
Note: If improper or missing selections were made, the tool will not apply the renaming and a popup dialog will appear telling you what is required for the selected product.
Required files for renaming are as follows:
- Plushies and figurines: mesh, texture, icon, and name
- Playmats: texture, icon, and name (name excluded on the No Name selection)
- Comics/Manga: texture, icon, and name
