Disclaimer: This mod is heavily catered to my taste, so do not expect it to be very balanced. I like to play on realistic difficulty with the following settings;
Also, note that the descriptions are in english. If your game is on a different language, the descriptions of the changed perks will not show and they will overlap.
Squads related:
-Added 25 new unit training upgrades (with custom colorful icons!)
-Added playable and upgradeable Templar squad (mercenary faction) with new custom icon.
-Added playable and upgradeable Commandos squad (movement faction)
-Added playable and upgradeable Elite mercenaries squad (mercenary faction)
-Added playable and upgradeable Army survivors (founder faction) with 3 unique upgrades that increasingly change (even the squad icon) and make the unit from mediocre to up on par with the best.
-Added training choices for units lacking them (like Mercenaries, all hero units or the female templar squad (Furies)
-Added additional and new training choices for all founder and movement troops.
-Some very special squad upgrades even allow the squad to use any weapon.
*Note: Due to how scripts work in game, some upgrades do not stack or directly override eachother. I did my best to notify such cases.
examples: Fire rate +% buffs do not stack, only highest apply, leaving some perks far less optimal.)
-Massively increased the squads experience rate. They now level up with only a few kills.
-Modified almost all Founder and Movement troops (nothing extreme)
--- Increased squad size +1 of: Founder Car crew, Tank crew, Rangers, Snipers.
Changed many initial default weapons and also added additional special weapon slots to certain units. (Example; Founder infantry comes with an additional Light machinegun slot, Movement Militia comes with AK-47 by default, and many more)
--- Option to further fine tune the squads by adding additional special weapon slots and squad members via training.
Vehicle related:
-Added 7 new custom vehicles (can see them on the images section) with their custom icons, weapons, ammunition, effects and upgrades.
-Founder mobile defense platform (modified chasis)
-Abrams HiTec with awesome new weaponry (with new ammunition effects!)
-Bradley HiTec with awesome new weaponry (with new ammunition effects!)
-M113 APC HiTec (modified chasis) with awesome new weaponry (with new ammunition effects!)
-Helicopter Iroquois with military camo version and custom dual .50cal with incendiary rounds (very small aoe)
-Prototype Abrams tank (modified chasis) with awesome new weaponry (with new ammunition effects!)
-HEMTT HiTec (modified chasis) with awesome new weaponry + 3 new weapon items available in the shop to further customize it, all with new ammunition effects.
All of them (except helicopter) with fully funcional armor and engine upgrades. (*for some unknown ingame reasons, very few engine upgrades do not seem to work or apply correctly- hemtt vehicle for example).
-Added 1 new rocket pod item slot (with 2 new rocket ammunition types) for the Bradleys and the custom M113 APC HiTec. (tried my best to change the Bradley TOW model but it did not work for now)
All upgrades can now be changed and removed freely (except armor upgrades and engine boost.)
-Reduced helicopter landing restriction space by 40%. It is now noticeably easier to land the helicopters!
-Changed helicopter attack pattern. They can now shoot normally without approaching the target (suiciding in the process...lol)
-Partially increased Founder vehicles health pool and armor modules (and the intergrator Heavy Technical because i love it).
-Slightly increased speed of the slowest vehicles (Truck trailer, Dozer, regular trucks)
-Overall increase in vehicle speed due to armor upgrades now only reducing vehicle speed by 10% instead of 20-30%...
-Slightly changed Ceramic armor to make it the universal best choice (Best VS Energy and HEAT and now only slightly inferior to Carbon armor when facing AP munitions)
-Made Blackhawk helicopter more durable, so that it can actually fight a bit. (Overall increase of base health by 45% and armor by 60%)
-Increased Humvee, Stryker, Bradley and M113 APC Squad capacity by +1, also made more vehicles (like trucks) able to tow trailers and heavy platforms.
-Increased Spare parts of all vehicles by roughly 70-100% (tried everything but helicopter can not be repaired during a mission yet :(
-Increased ammo supplies of vehicles (to replenish squads) by 50%
Weapons related:
-Added 9 new vehicle guns and 11 different new ammunition types with varied effects, sounds and visuals. They are mostly available on the new vehicles added, although some can be equiped to others, like the rocket launcher pod item for the Bradleys or M113 APC HiTec.
-Added many vehicle upgrades to the shops, of which 3 are new weapon items for the new custom vehicle HEMTT HiTec (see uploaded image for reference)
-Increased very slightly the range of mostly plasma guns (infantry rifle, infantry light machinegun, mounted plasma HM and Bradley light plasma cannon, also NGSW-R)
- Tried to update all ingame tooltips that I could find that had changes so that they now reflect the new ranges or effects.
-Various additional tweaks that i'm probably forgetting (mostly increases in ammunition for several different weapons, very minimal tweaks to their visual effects)
Extras:
-Improved Combat camera, better zoom in/out and increased tilting range.
-Zoomed out world map view a little bit, since it was very difficult to see the next objective sometimes.
-Partial shop unlocker (all units added to all shops, but only founder and movement related units + my custom units mentioned above along the Heavy Integrator Technical), I don't like the rest of the Cartel/Marauder/legion units in the shop breaking my inmmersion - weapons and upgrades are all unlocked on all shops)
*Included 1 copy of each hero unit on 4 different shops(Except Condo-the sniper- and Finch-the hacker-)
<< I use the shop partially like a sandbox so I added many units, but only limited to 1 or 2 each (weapons and upgrades go up to 3)>>
-Reduced supply consumption by 40-45% (not stacked with the latest patch where devs reduced supply consumption)
-Increased Legion health values by around 20-30%, both infantry and vehicles (only base health values. Armor values untouched)
-Increased Legion infantry number of units per squad (+2 enemies per squad except the Rev-6 terminators with +1 per squad)
-Very very small increase in reinforcements on some missions -only on realistic and hard difficulties- (mostly +1 or +2 infantry slots on some missions and +1 armored transport)
-Infantry now only take 7 seconds to start healing themselves, down from 15 seconds.
-Infantry now takes 1 second less to hack and throw grenades.
I am probably forgetting many more changes but most of them are very small touches.
I know it is a lot of things combined but since many of the files require changes of several different locations, I am too lazy to subdivide the mod, so I'm uploading everything combined. I had to modify one way or another over 40 different game files.
-------------To install;
Simply extract the .rar folder into the game installation folder (The .rar folder contains 2 subfolders- Basis and Localization, all required).
*this mod modifies over 40 total separate files, from the species folder which also require several others from the locale folder(within localization) and the textures folder.
