About this mod
A simple mod that allows you to put any primary weapon into any primary slot!. Now, i don't know how to add weapons to the game so at this time the basic shotgun, basic ar15, and basic pistol are only available for units that normally have them! Has been updated to Version 2

Version 2 has now landed! Version one will remain available as simpler version of the mod!
Version 1= A very simple mod that allows you to place any primary weapon into any primary slot. you can give Rangers plasma shotguns, Drivers assault rifles, and Infantry Sub-machine guns as you want! customize squads to your heart's content!
Version 2= A more in depth version true to my original vision! this mod makes every squad use only a pistol as their default primary weapon slot. But, now, every default primary weapon is available as an item in shops and most units have a weapon in their default inventory! The default shotgun, AR15, and AK47 are all available for purchase and available in skirmish! Want your founders to rock some AK's? go for it! want to pass out some AR15's to the locals? it's an option! want to fast rope some rangers into a building with 12 gauges for some shenanigans? go for it! low on rifles for troops? strip em down to a pistol to give the weapons to more important people!
Also included in Version 2 is a predefined save to skip the intro missions with this mod's content ready to go! As a bonus, the Preacher special squad in Albique has been completely reworked into a special Infantry Squad complete with sniper rifle, ATGM launcher, grenade launcher, and a machine gun! (If this produces any issues, please, let me know!)
Installation: For modding Terminator Dark Fate: Defiance, you have to unpack the pak files located in Steamapps/common/Terminator Dark Fate - Defiance
To do so you will need 7zip and the file password: oKoo$]bnGTKJLMNBA9A
I recommend moving the basis.pak and all update.pak files to a back up folder, then unpack them in order into that back up folder, overwriting with each unpack. you should end with a single folder in that back up folder named 'basis'. copy this folder and place it back into your steam common folder for TDF-D where you removed the .pak files.
For version one, download my file, extract it, then copy the 'scripts' folder from it and go to Documents/MyGames/Terminator Dark Fate and paste the scripts folder there. you can now launch and play to your hearts content!
Version 2 is a bit more extensive but still nice and easy to install! after extracting, the file has two folders. My Games, and Common. copy My games to the documents folder on your computer, and the common folder to your Steamapps folder. (you can alternatively go into the deeper folders and copy the 'terminator dark fate' folder in each to their respective locations) the My Games folder contains the scripts file and other main meat of the mod, and the Common folder includes the localization files so the AR15, AK, and Shotgun have text files. (english translation only)
