About this mod

Adds a short playable story of survival in nature. Also includes some new animal themed trait cards.

Permissions and credits
The original The Untamed mod by comphiturra contained a game locking bug that occurred when you clicked on the Factions and Loyalty icon.
This problem has since been fixed by myself and with comphiturra's permission I'm allowed to upload this fixed version.
Everything else in the mod remains the same so if you're using the original version of The Untamed then please use this new version.

All credit for The Untamed goes to comphiturra.

STORY
The Shattering has broken Thea's families as much as it has broken the world itself. The more desperate families now entrust their children to the bands of scavengers roaming the lands. Hoping a place among these rugged vagabonds will increase their chances of survival, some parents pay a substantial price for the offspring to be taken in. Scavengers, however, do not always keep their word and once out of sight the new burden is often left behind.
Lost and abandoned, two of these children now roam through the crumbling wasteland. Outraged by this cruelty, Dzievanna has taken pity, giving the poor sould Grace and the protection of some of her favorite servants. Can they survive the Shattering and grow into beacons of hope, perhaps brokering a peace between Nature and the forces of Light and Darkness? Or will they give in to their feral temper and rampage through this world as it Shatters around them?

INTRODUCTION
The trait cards are designed (and balanced) to be played together as Dzievanna. They require 5 traitpoints in total to play and their flavour text is geared towards playing as Dzievanna. Of course, you can also play these new traits seperately and with other gods.

Together, the new content should encourage a nomadic playstyle. Since that means you'll miss out on some research and crafting, I have added some skills to the enlightened rat that should allow it to grow into a decent researcher/crafter midgame. The combat attributes are high on shielding, low on damage and I have added some innate leech to the bear. This will allow for strategies that revolve around Strength of the Swarm (all custom characters get it eventually) and longer battles over several rounds.

TECHNICAL STUFF
Allmost all modded data has been moved to new, separate files that should each load immediately after the vanilla database-files. This hughely reduces the need to overwrite existing data and as a result should improve the loading times and the compatability of this mod with other mods. I had some trouble with the DATABASE_DES_LOCALIZATION file since any non-vanilla file seems to overwrite the original descriptions completely. As a work-around, I have placed all of my custom descriptions directly in the other game files. As a general rule, I have used the vanilla DataBase where possible rather than making all kinds of duplicate custom skills, subskills etc. The resulting benefit should be that any alterations make to the base game (by a patch or another mod) should be reflected in the custom characters of this mod.

Do I need to start a new game once this is activated?
No you don't need to start a new game.

Can this mod be used in Co-op games? 
Yes it can. All players participating in the game will need to have it active.
