About this mod

Adds Native HDR to Berserker the first Khazan

Permissions and credits
The game didn't launch with HDR support, so I modded it in! I feel like its mature enough to share with you guys!

Please read the installation instructions!

THIS IS NOT AUTOHDR -- I've modified the game's files and shaders that make the game output a proper HDR output

Installation:
1) Download and install "reshade with full addon addon support" -- Specifically the custom version linked below
Download -> https://github.com/marat569/reshadeinstaller/raw/refs/heads/main/ReShade%20Setup.e5d213e.swapchaindesc-proxy.exe
-- We do not use any Reshade shaders or effects; we just use Reshade to inject our mod!

2) Download the mod

3) Place renodx-bersekerKhazan.addon64  in your game folder, the same folder as BBQ-Win64-Shipping.exe
\steamapps\common\The First Berserker Khazan\BBQ\Binaries\Win64

Installation Notes:

- Make sure HDR is enabled in windows
- THE GAME MUST BE IN DX11 MODE!
-- Sadly DX12 doesn't work for now; but the game runs smoother with DirectX11 anyway!
-- Make sure to set the game to DX11 mode before installing the mod or else!
-- The in-game brightness setting (not the mod's) has to be default!

-- This mod is pretty solid, but still somewhat of a Work in Progress, so please report all bugs!

- If you are stuttering, try recompiling shaders; in order to do that; delete the file (or files) found in this folder:
%localappdata%\BBQ\Saved\CollectedPSOs

Configuration:
- Press "home" and "renodx" to control the color grading settings!

Fun settings:
- If you're on an OLED, try out 55 saturation and 55 contrast; imo those look pretty good!

Thank you to Shortfuse for making the RenoDX framework

- If you need help, you can always find me on the HDR Den discord! Invite link: https://discord.gg/5WZXDpmbpP

- Due to the nature of converting HDR screenshots to SDR, the images on the nexus page don't look as good as the the mod does in game!
