Animal Population Changer enables you to modify attributes of animals across all reserves in theHunter: Call of the Wild. Supported modifications include: - Make an animal a Great One - Make an animal a Diamond - Make an animal have a rare fur - Make a female a male - Bulk-modify large groups of animals of the same species with any of the above changes
This is forked from the source code of the original version and updated to work with newer game versions, including the latest Sundarpatan DLC.
How to install Animal Population Changer 1. Download the latest release from the Files page 2. Unpack the .7z archive 3. Run apcgui.exe
How to use Animal Population Changer
APC should load your save files automatically. If you are using a custom saves location, click Files -> Configure Game Path to select the appropriate folder.
1. Select your Reserve from the dropdown to load the population file 2. Select a Species from the list 3. Configure the desired modifications using the tools on the right 4. Click Update Animals to apply the changes to that species type 5. Repeat steps 2-4 to configure any additional modifications
When you are ready to save the changes: 1. Open the Files tab 2. Click the List Mods button 3. Select the Reserve 4. Click Load Mod to copy the modded population file into the saves directory
NOTE: APC keeps a backup of your old, unmodified population file in the /internal/backups folder. This can be restored using the Unload Mod button.
What are Parties?
The four "Party" modes perform the following changes: - Great One Party: Convert all eligible animals on the reserve to Great Ones - Diamond Party: Convert all animals on the reserve to Diamonds - We All Party: Convert 10% to Great Ones, 50% to Diamonds, and randomize all furs - Fur Party: Randomize furs for all animals on the reserve
