Filmic is a non-Reshade mod that replaces and modifies the built-in filters for The Last of Us Part II Remastered; found in the FILTERS GALLERY menu, or in Photo Mode.
The main filter, "Filmic" (or labeled in-game as "Filmic III") enhances the game's base color grading by making the colors pop with filmic tones while respecting the art direction of the game. Aside from that, this mod also comes with currently 8 additional filters:
Polachrome — emulates the look of Polaroid's PolaChrome 35mm film;
1979 — emulates the look of expired Kodak Plus-X 125 film from 1979;
XP2 (Black & White) — emulates the look of Ilford XP2 400 film;
VHS Damage — emulates the look of VHS desaturation and overblown highlights, works best when used in Photo Mode with the "SCANLINES" frame;
Sepia — emulates Polaroid Type 100 film;
Infrared — emulates infrared filters by turning green foliage to pink;
1989 — a custom-made filter based on beachy, sandy tones and pastel-indigo shadows;
BleachBypass — emulates the look of a bleach bypass
Atleast 5P to enable the filter for non-Photo Mode usage
F.A.Q:
"How does it work without Reshade?" — This mod modifies one of the in-game filters that you can enable in the EXTRAS menu.
"Will it work with HDR?" — I tested this with HDR and it works/looks fine.
How to Install:
Unzip the archive with WinRar or 7-Zip
Copy filmic.psarc into the mods folder
How to Enable: A. With 5P, unlock Filmic III in EXTRAS > FILTER GALLERY B. During gameplay or a cutscene, go into Photo Mode then enable the Filmic III filter.
