In this ReShade, I used several effects to achieve more vivid colors and better lighting. I tried to stay close to the original. The main goal was to remove the faded yellowish tint, reduce that late 2000s glow around everything and add some depth instead. I also added SMAA as the game itself does not offer AA. There is an older version with a colder color temperature, which I found to be a bit too cold in some places after a while, but you may like that better as the results also depend on the calibration of your screen.
To install it: -Unzip and place the SaboteurReShade.ini in the main folder of your installed game:
-Download ReShade from the official site.
-Run the ReShade Installer and select the game by browsing for the Saboteur.exe and select DirectX 9. When it comes to selecting effects, select SaboteurReShade.ini at the bottom of the installer. This way the installer downloads only those effects used.
-Once you installed ReShade, start the game, press Pos1/Home and go through the tutorial, selecting the ini on the top of the overlay. The effects used should then show up and have a checked box in front of them. You then can also hit the performance mode box at the bottom of that tab.
-If you map a key to toggle effects under the options tab, you can see the difference yourself. Press Pos1/Home again to close the ReShade Overlay.
