There are a wide variety of custom cars available for the Sims 3. For the most part they use car scripts that are found in the base game. There are times that this can be undesirable as the car may move to fast or too slow depending on your preferences. Changing the script file a custom car uses is very easy and can be done in less than a minute.

The speed of cars in the Sims 3 is determined by a script written in C#. The only way to change the speed of a car is by creating a new script for it. This is beyond the capability of most of the game's fans.
What I have done is to create a package file containing 168 individual car scripts that can be linked to any custom car. The scripts can be used by pasting a single line of text into the car's package file using Sims3PE. A file containing all of the script names is provided in the download. See the mod's instruction file for complete details.
