This mod seeks to change up the game completely, providing new challenges and new attack patterns from the enemies! There are also a few player changes. This mod can be played on any difficulty.

NOTE: OLDER VERSIONS MAY OR MAY NOT WORK. THE BACKUP EXE FILES WILL ALSO BE OUTDATED. THE ONLY CURRENT VERSION IS: INSANITY
This mod changes up the normal experience of TMNT by providing new challenges and struggles all throughout the run from stage one alone. Some of these changes include increased/altered counts to many things such as how many times Rocksteady shoots, how many arrows the Foot Archers shoot, Stampede Enemy Counts, and many more! Enemies and bosses have new and different move sets than the usual, so be prepared, and best of luck! ALL enemies and bosses have something new or changed about them.
There are three versions of the mod, a normal version, harder version, and professional version. All are quite the challenge, however, the harder or professional version is sure to do so.
The harder version changes a few things over compared to the normal version, such as starting life count, "pits of death" and more :)
The Professional version continues on from that.
When using this mod, ANY difficulty or mode can be chosen as desired.
To install this mod, simple COPY the TMNT.exe located in the folder
(Normal Cowabunga) or (Harder Cowabunga) or (Professional Cowabunga) and paste it into your game directory, which should be
Steam/steamapps/Common/TMNT. It should prompt you to replace the
file in the destination if done correctly. That is all!
If wanting to switch back to the original version, take the
TMNT.exe located in "Original TMNT EXE" folder and copy and paste
that into your game directory. This well set things back to normal. An
Alternate way is just to verify your game files via steam.
NOTE, DOING ANY OF THIS DOES NOT DELETE OR REPLACE YOUR PROGRESS/SAVES.
If you try to view the "README TUTORIAL" file through the rar itself, you will be met with an error of "Potentially Dangerous Content has been Blocked". This is because it will not open the readme straight from the rar. You will have to place the folder elsewhere (ex. Desktop), then move the exe, OR just move the EXE straight from the RAR to your game directory to avoid all that. The Readme is on this page ^^^^ anyway.
When this mod gets updated, Nexus will have to re-verify it, so it goes down temporarily. HOWEVER, the google drive and GameBanana mirror always works!

The Google Drive and GameBanana mirrors are always up to date first, since every time I upload it here first, Nexus has to put "suspicious files" for them to verify first (which it's safe once done so).
