Hello there! I always wanted to do this mod, and i actually did some time ago for the OG PC releases so i may as well do it here too.
This mod replaces many Lara sound effects with more appropiate matches picked by me so Lara feels more ''cohesive'' between all 3 games.
There has always been sounds that i didnt particularly like either so i arranged this set to make everything feel seamless.
Replaced sound list:
This way all Lara noises are matched between all 3 games and without reusing other actresses sounds, so everything is from Jonell in all 3 games!
UPDATE PATCH 1
PATCH 1 (4/18/2025) Introduced new sounds in the MAIN.sfx for both games, most notably barefoot sfx when using Lara's costumes from 1-2-3 so this mod needed an update.
This update includes a higher volume fix for several sound effects to avoid them being too quiet.
SFX upgraded in Volume in both games:
Lara's Grunts, Draw and Pull back guns, Gun fire, Water splash effects, Footsteps, Roll SFX, Sliding SFX, Lara's NO (all 4 of them), the Menu SFX and the Surfaces in TR4 and TR5.
To use this mod you must Drag the folders 4 and 5 into the location of your game!
Thank you for downloading this small mod. It may not be as elaborate as others i had made, but it certainly does make a difference for me because i love things to match as they should!

Replaced sound list:
- Lara jumping sound> Replaced with a more familiar AoD jumping grunt, makes Lara feel a bit more mature.
- Lara pulling herself up sound> The original in TR4 is still Judith Gibbins sound from TR3 but pitched up, so i changed it so its Jonell. Applied to TR5 as well because i didnt like the sound they used in that game.
- Lara getting damaged in TR4 has been pitched down to avoid ''baby-ish'' grunt noises. Sounds more womanly now.
- Lara Spikes death sound is Judith from TR3 again, so i changed it so its Jonell with an appropiate ''splat'' effect.
- Lara's healing sound in TR4 is once again from TR3 and the one used in TR5 does not convince me so i changed this to a more appropiate healing sound!
- Lara's breath out of water from TR5 replaced with a more appropiate Jonell breathing noise. The original one is too aggressive.
- Lara's hanging from ledges sound from TR5 replaced with a more familiar AoD grunt because the original sounds a bit odd and distructive.
- And finally,originally, the Death scream used in both games is Shelley's iconic Lara death scream from TR1 but i changed it for another iconic death scream from Jonell!
This way all Lara noises are matched between all 3 games and without reusing other actresses sounds, so everything is from Jonell in all 3 games!
