The mod is a work in progress, so things change or get added from update to update. The THPS Pro Mod contains all THPS3, THPS4, THUG1, (almost all) THUG2 and THP8 levels. All levels and some 1+2 levels containing vehicles have level options.
The sombrero, sunhat and the pirate hat, some skin colors are included as new Create-A-Skater Pieces.
For the first time the alternative Online Mode is activated but very limited in features. This mode is one possibility to play with friends in LAN or VPN (like Radmin VPN). At the moment it is only possible to play in FreeSkate. Other Game Modes or Level changes will disconnect everybody in the server but they can return. To get back into original online mode and leaderboard you have to remove the "THPSPROonline_99_P.pak" file.
- STEAM Version: remove the THPSPROonline_99_P.pak to play online and the alternative online mode doesn't work there anyway


Backup your Save
In explorer goto: %localappdata%\VicariousVisions\THPS\Saved\SaveGamesand backup all files.

Game crashes when creating a Custom Skater
When you haven‘t created a custom skater in vanilla version, then you should before, otherwise the game could crash.When you already have installed THPSPro and want to create a new skater, then you have to move out the THPSProCharacters_99_P.pak file. Create a new skater, save and put the file back into the folder.

Install - also works for Steam and Microsoft Windows version
Copy the "Content" folder including "Paks\~mods" and the \*.pak files into: X:\...\Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2\TonyHawksProSkater\Base\
It is recommended to delete the old files first.

De-Install Online - necessary step for steam version(probably MS version too)
- if you want to try the alternative Online mode unzip the online pak.
- remove "\~mods\THPSPRO\pakchunk0-THPSPROonline_99_P.pak" if you only want to remove the "online" part and return to the original online mode


THPSPro Button in Mainmenu level opens a level menu.

- F1: Level options (all 1+2 levels containing vehicles + own levels)
- F2: Set Restart
- F3/R2+R3: Goto Restart (also in FRC to spawn at camera location)
- F4/L3+R3: Free Roam Cam (in FreeSkate) - hold L3 and press R3 to close it without accidently spawning at camera location
- F5: Overlays (Balancetimers; Chat(WIP))- F6: Camera Button (Switch or Place)- F7: Options Menu (Hidden Cheats, Physics & Camera Mods)- F8: Level Menu
- F6: Switch Cameras when set in Options
- F7: THPSPro Game Options + Cameras

Overall Known Issues
- FRC resets/ignores audio level settings
- Hidden cheats not available in single session or broken with mirrored controls
- Classic Mode sound is broken

"Online" (WIP) - Epic Games Version only
- only LAN and with tools like *Radmin VPN* possible to connect (all players in same network)
- FreeSkate only (setting up timers crash)
- Launch trick attack, combo mambo works in pause menu (Esc) when playing alone, but Graffiti crashes due missing stuff which I haven't fully reconstructed yet
- level change doesn't get called on other clients
- Chat got the same problem atm (it may not be possible without editing original files)
- replication isn't working correctly

Character + Skater Mods
- when the Character Outfit isn't set, then the character is invisible in the main menu after returning from skating -> set the Outfit and it will be saved
- other players won't see your skater when a new skater is selected -> DON'T USE them in Epic/Steam Online Modes
- Turtles crash sometimes, only load them at game start -> when you can't start the game correctly anymore because they are saved, cut the Characters pak file out of the game folder, start the game until you see Tony in the mainmenu and close it to paste the Characters pak file back into it

Classic OldGen Goals (WIP) - rough reproduction
- Classic Game Mode allows you to collect S-K-A-T-E letters and the tape
- park goal list doesn't work because level doesn't load like the original ones but all the data is there
- some THPS3 levels got scripted custom collectibles but they are discontinued until the goal original approach is found
- doesn't hide already collected objects on level restart
- scores are set but don't register when completed

THUG2 Classic Goals (WIP)
- part of a new goal system for THPS4-UG2

THP8 Goals (WIP) - can be removed in F1 Options
- Classic Goals Widget doesn't show the Score Success
- Spot Challenges aren't that accurate, not loaded every time and not every goal is possible to solve due missing tech/movement possibilities

Custom Gaps (WIP) - rough reproduction
- some gaps don't get triggered (noticeable for example bottom up to grind)

Walking (WIP) - rough reproduction
- doesn't look and work good yet because it's using the skateboardcharactermovement otherwise I can't retrieve the skater data/item setup
- Anims aren't working correctly on the skater skeleton because they break ingame for unknown reasons(in editor it is looking fine but ingame they probably rotate some bones differently) and the upperbody got blended with an original anim
- walktimer get's triggered even in air - it only should on ground, but that gets ignored because some skater data isn't accessible as it should

additional game mechanics (WIP) - rough reproduction
- Natas Spin isn't added as real functional trick including spin counter but as gap trick (known bug: skater stays rotated when the reset didn't worked)
- Stalls are experimental toggleable and can be triggered by pressing right trigger key and grind key
- Buttslaps are rewritten from scratch with custom additional buffer which isn't perfect but ok (known bug: sort of wallplant late ollie is possible with that)
- Custom Boostplant: Do a wallride; hold grind key and tap Up + Flip/Grab keys multiple times; press/release ollie to jump
- Bank Drops: Use spine transfer key at specific locations (at the moment only THP8: Downhill Rio uses the original surface flags)
