About this mod
The new anime-style soldier faces feel forced and out of place in the Platinum version. This mod restores the classic soldier faces from the Gold version.
- Permissions and credits
This mod doesn't change the game's code at all, so some soldier faces are less likely to appear. There are more face options in the platinum version, and this mod simply replaces those faces in the game files with the old faces, repeating some faces multiple times to make the number of files match. This mod does not change anything else about the game. Because it replaces the main geoscape.xbg file, this mod currently does not work with any other mods (except for the built-in BMan mods of course).
Installation:
1. Download the mod file
2. Go to <Install Location>\UFO Extraterrestrials Platinum\data
If you are using Steam, the Install Location is by default:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\UFO Extraterrestrials Platinum\data
3. Replace geoscape.xbg with the updated version.
4. Enjoy the new aliens without the ugliness!
