About this mod

Some changes I wanted to play with so I made them here they are

I take suggestions or bug reports. I have not had time to test the progression of my mod so please let me know if one thing is way too easy/hard to level, or if the level scale in general is too high.

New skill: Knowledge
  • Advance by defeating enemies
  • Increases exp gains for all skills (x8 at level 300)
  • Reduces skill loss on death (unless hardcore mode, which just deletes your skills)
New skill: Hauling
  • Advance by having a fuller inventory and moving, or pulling a cart (cart and inventory weight is counted but exceeding max weight has diminishing returns)
  • Increase maximum weight (150 at level 300)
  • Increase inventory width by 1 for every 70 levels
New skill: Fortitude
  • Advance by taking damage from combat (exp calculated before armor and block/parry values apply, so blocking damage still fully counts)
  • Increase stagger resistance (45% at level 300)
  • Increase armor (30 at level 300)

Other random changes
  • Max level for all skills are now 300, the experience requirement curve is a slightly steepened extended vanilla curve
  • Level balancing disabled (no cap on total level)
  • Dying reduces stats randomly, up to 5 levels if really unlucky, mitigated by Knowledge skill
  • Dying no longer gives merciful gods buff
  • Opening the skills menu will show how far each skill as moved since last opening the skills menu
  • Food now has its full effect for 90% of its duration, then very quickly falls off for the remaining 10%
  • Can eat more food again after 5 seconds of eating it last
  • Jump skill has added fall damage resistance
  • Fall damage cap of 100 is removed
  • Running, jumping and swimming have different speed/force curves to accommodate higher max level (ride has not been tested, it's probably comically fast)
  • All athletic type skills have had their stamina usage adjusted to be lower at higher levels
  • Max stamina increased by up to 100 based on total of all athletic type skills (run, swim, sneak, jump, ride)
  • Max hp increased by up to 50 based on blocking and fortitude levels
  • Stealth has a new effectiveness curve to accommodate higher max level
  • Swimming is 4x easier to advance than normal
  • When clicking repair, repair everything
  • Terrain height deformation limit changed to 1250x the original value (only with pickaxe mining / hoe set to "raise height")

Since tombstones do not render the extended inventory, it will look like stuff is missing if you died with 70 or more hauling. I have added an event so when you click on any tombstone inventory slot, it will attempt to pull items out of the invisible slots and put them where you clicked, so rapidly ctrl-clicking a single tombstone slot will extract the extended part. It will stay this way until I can figure out what limits the drawing area of the tombstone inventory.

  • .skills - print the proper skill name of every skill in the console (need bepinex console enabled to see this)
  • .skillset [proper skill name] [number]
