This is a simple utility that allows for automated character and world backups.
You can configure how frequently to backup, as well as how frequently to delete previous backups
The utility uses 3% CPU for 4 seconds while backing up (Ryzen 5 2600), and of course 0% while idle.
Does not support backup of "Valheim dedicated server" folder due to the fact that the world is not saved there.
You should only backup your server folder before modding, meaning doing an entire server folder backup on an interval is wasteful.
EDIT: AV provider "SecureAge APEX" detected a false positive, I have contacted them to hopefully resolve this. You can view the source code here
EDIT2: The file was manually reviewed by the moderation team, and found to be safe to use. But I suppose this is nullified by releasing an update, as now my file is quarantined again :(
