Doesn't look like this mod is very actively updated anymore, but if anyone gets permission to take the project forward in the future, here's a bug report:
With this mod active, placing anything with hammer uses no resources. you must have the resources in your inventory, but you can place an infinite amount of that object with the hammer for the minimum resources in your inventory if you only had enough for one of them.
removing the mod file from the plugins folder resolved issue.
Process was not tested with Easy farm as the only mod in load order... due to laziness.
Easy Farm's mass planting does not work as intended, I may be doing something wrong, but the issue is plants aren't placed in uniform masses and are often planted in the same spot. Causing some to be crowded and unable to grow. The mass collection option works well. I am unsure what to do with the mod. Am I able to remove it without ruining my current playthrough? There's an option to disable EasyFarm in the config, but I would rather delete it for now until the mod is fixed. If there's something I can do to fix it that would work as well, I appreciate any guidance on how to get the mod working properly.
Easyfarm is *back*!? This was my favorite mod when I was first playing Valheim. I didn't realize you'd returned to the game - that's great! I hope it's going well for you. Seeing that you're active I just wanted to drop in and say; "Thanks for a great mod!"
I agree. I am using "Plant Everything" and Easy Farm seems to be not working at all then. I changed the shortcut in the MOD menu but this did not hep either. I assume the adjustment to go along with both mods couldn`t be that complicated. Correct me if i am mistaken there, please.
Of course its possible, but it is not as easy as it sounds, since things that regrow (what plant everything makes plantable) are conceptually treated differently in the source code. Since you usually dont mass plant these things i have not bothered to make it compatible and i dont know if I will.
Not sure if this is because of the Mistlands PTB or what, but the crowding logic for cultivars is wonky right now. I'll lay down a grid of something like onions or flax and I'll get patches missing because it's too crowded despite everything being equidistant.
Could there be some kind of customizable buffer we can edit in the configs that just pads the distance by 1 or however many units? This is something that's already present in FarmGrid, if a reference is needed.
I think the mod already does something like checks the growth radius of the crop and doubles it but adds 10% as a buffer. That 10% figure could be made to be configurable.
But I think the problem actually goes slightly deeper than that. When placing crops it will adjust their location slightly once planted based on the heightmap of the placement location. Crops will align to the ground, uneven as it is, possibly differently then where the placement ghosts appear. I think that part of the equation (heightmap) possibly isn't being factored in to where the placement ghosts appear (and check for collisions from).
One thing I think that was also affecting my placement grid was that often, in order to see large grids, I'd be on an elevation higher than the terrain I was planting on. This would result in issues with some of my crops being too close together. It's never happened to me when I plant while standing at the same height as the terrain being planted upon.
I think this would be perfect if
The grid could expand from the center of the tool cursor, and
it worked with Build Camera (the positioning goes crazy and rotates strangely when I try and use it with that mod).
I will look into this, though i never had that issue when using it myself. It works exaclty like @Advize says, though the setting of the height should not affect the collision radius, since they all use Capsule Colliders. I will see if i made a mistake somewhere though. My PC is broken right now, bu ill try to get to it next week. Thank you for reporting!
Love the mod, and it makes farming less of a chore especially on my slower laptop.
One thing I noticed with the 1.1.1 version and the grid size changing while on a server is that it seemingly skips grid dimensions. So it makes me have to adjust it back down in size for whichever direction and back up sometimes to get the actual grid size it should be.
It seems to work without any issues in single player, but on a server with the mod installed there and the client, it has the awkward issue.
Hopefully this issue can be addressed, and thanks for your work and time!
it seems to work fine on my end. Do you have mods installed other than valheim plus? Or are you maybe playing on a server? Is your game lagging when planting?

Edit: Nevermind

As you can see on the screenshot it has both a brown (not enough room to grow) and a growing tree (timer)
