Hey, it took me a while, but I managed to dig up a working Widescreen fix that works with Age of Redemption. It's not an .exe file. No original description was recovered, but I believe the mode was made in Russia, as it comes with Russian translation. I believe this mod is optimized for 1920x1080 - for further scaling I believe you must use dgVoodoo2 and set it from there. This mod doesn't scale the UI, just the game itself. Also fixes the cutscenes. I didn't make this mod, I'm just uploading it here for archival purposes.
Copy the files into your \Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption\ folder. Select proper resolution from the game.
- If you have any visual issues with the menus it's recommended you go into Advanced options in the game and set it to 32 bit. Make sure that masquerade.ini is not set to Read only so that your changes save (you can set it to Read only after you make the change). Restart the game and it should be fine.
- It's recommended you use dgVoodoo2 for this game (it fixes brightness - who knew Christof had red hair!). Set it to fullscreen scaling mode or windowed stretched, keep aspect ratio.
- It doesn't have the best compatibility with Neural Redemption, as that mod requires you to run 16 bit I believe, so the menus will probably have a visual glitch if ran like that.
