A few tweaks to make colonization and regional dynamics more enjoyable:
- A lot of strategic regions added to the game, the main reason the AI colonizes so much "out of the blue" is the fact there are so few in Vanilla, and a lot of overlaps. - Slowed down the rate of colony growth overall, to avoid unfair advantage at start to a few countries. - Tweaked the AI to prefer to colonize coastal provinces first, making it more likely to block out potential competitors and overall make borders more realistic. - Scaled down the rate of native uprisings to about a fifth of vanilla, to give the colonial powers a chance to compete.
