This mod allows you to obtain every ability seed in the game for free, at the Ability Seed Exchange at any item store.
v1.0:
- Initial release.
Instructions:
Place the following files in your mods folder:
- pakchunk224-ability_seeds_for_all_2_P.pak
- pakchunk224-ability_seeds_for_all_2_P.ucas
- pakchunk224-ability_seeds_for_all_2_P.utoc
That's it.
To put things back the way they were, just remove the pak/ucas/utoc files.
Note: The mods folder is typically "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\VisionsofMana\VisionsofMana\Content\Paks\~mods".
Notes:
Visit any item shop once "Ability Seed Exchange" has been unlocked (start of Chapter 4). Go to the exchange menu,
and purchase as many of whichever ability seeds you want. Every ability seed in the game is available.
They cost 0 Rabite corestones each, which the game seems okay with allowing, so it's all free.
Conflicts:
This mod has no known conflicts at time of release. But if there are future mods that alter the seed exchange file it could
conflict.
How to mod VoM:
Unpacking and repacking can only be done with UnrealUnZen at the moment due to the game's use of iostore.
Load the game's primary utoc file, select repack files and select the folder with your modded files (with the same folder
structure as the original files). Then save the upack/utoc/ucas. Make sure to use the "_P" suffix for the filename as always.
For viewing uassets in readable json, use FModel. To edit the uassets, you'll have to do it in a hex editor for now.
