About this mod
This mod allows you to use the Mark 8 power armor as a Deathwatch brother in Operations.
These customizable skins are for both players and bots. Also, Deathwatch weapons have been made into skins for various weapons.

Mark 8 Deathwatch operator skins are applied within the battle barge, during loading screens and within operations.
Descriptive Armor Piece Names:
Unfortunately, I couldn't get mark 8 armor to render in the customization menu, so it will appear invisible. To aid your customization, I added descriptive names for all of the armor pieces (e.g. helmet with forehead skull). You can see the name by hovering over the armor piece in the customization menu.
Chapter Specific Armor:
- Helmet: Black Templar
- Right Pauldron: Black Templar, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Space Wolves
- Left Knee: Dark Angels, Space Wolves
Deathwatch Weapon Skins:
I have also added deathwatch weapon skins for the following:
- Deathwatch Bolter: All bolt carbines, all bolt rifles
- Deathwatch Bolt Pistol: All bolt pistols.
Installing Loose Files:
- Download the Pakcacher mod for Space Marine 2 and a file unpacking program such as WinRAR.
- Navigate to your Space Marine 2 directory.
- Navigate to ~\Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\paks\client\default and open the file "default_other.pak" using WinRAR or an equivalent software. You should see a handful of folders such as ssl, tpl etc. inside the WinRAR window.
- Drag the downloaded "ssl" and "td" folders from your file explorer to the WinRAR window to merge contents.
- Run "pakcacher.exe" on "default_other.pak"" to rebuild the cache files. In Windows, this can be as simple as dragging "default_other.pak" over "pakcacher.exe" in File Explorer.
Installing Prepackaged Files:
- Navigate to your Space Marine 2 directory (note: folders "client_pc" and "server_pc" should be visible).
- Extract the prepackaged file folder and drag the downloaded "client_pc" folder into the the Space Marine 2 directory. If prompted, allow new files to overwrite older ones.
Limitations (Feel free to let me know how to fix these issues!):
- The customization menu does NOT render any mark 8 armor. Mitigated by descriptive names for armor pieces.
Acknowledgements:
Warhammer Workshop's delisted Deathwatch Operator mod acted as a guide for me to introduce chapter-specific armor pieces.
