How to use:
Yes i know there is already potato config mod but i find it not optimal enough for people desperate for fps, this one however i use myself since pre order beta and shared with people with equally bad setups, it doesnt help everyone equally as much because of different hardware issues but it helps in most cases.
My setup:
16 gb ddr 4
AMD R7 M340
AMD A12-9720-P
Overall performance gain 10-15 fps -> 30-50 fps
- Open C:\Users\*YourUsername*\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide, and drop user_settings.config from archive in folder, backup original file to copy/check old settings for new config.
- Make config "read only" after tweaking for yourself to prevent from config getting reset.
- Launch game.

Paste your own mod settings if you have any, contains settings for custom resolutions mod by default. - screen_resolution = [

Put your screen resolution in here but be aware that it might lower your fps drastically, i reccomend to put something like 1280x720 for 1920x1080 screens for a good enough boost without making image quality too bad. Be aware that there are 2 places in config with those settings and they will reset to default values if set too small, to avoid this use launcher skip. - max_worker_threads = 4
If you know how many threads you have you can adjust this setting by replacing it with your thread number-2. - vertical_fov = 65
Self explanatory, refer to original config for your old fov setting. - gamma = 2.2
Self explanatory, refer to original config for your gamma setting. - adapter_index = 0
Check your old config for right index if you have multiple videocards. - nv_framerate_cap = 60
Self explanatory, change to preffered frame cap. - language_id = "en"
Check your old config for your language id if you are not playing with english localisation. Be aware that there are 2 places in config with those settings.
