Play as a Space Marine Rogue Trader.
Is it lore friendly? No, probably not.
Will you be overpowered? Yes.

To use: extract the .7z using 7zip, and just put the save file for the model you want into your saves folder. (Windows (C:) > Users > [your name] > AppData > LocalLow > Owlcat Games > Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader > Saved Games)
Base Game is with no DLC at all. You will lack any items from the Deluxe and Voidfarer packs if you use these save files, even if you have those packs.
Deluxe-Voidfarer Packs is with both of those packs enabled. You will have the Firestorm-Class voidship instead of the Sword-Class, and access to all the items that come with them.
No DLC's are active within these saves, as you can enable them mid-game.

This is an edited save file, where I have swapped out the blueprint for the player character model with the blueprint of a Space Marine.
Space Marine talents have been added using the ToyBox mod. (Added the origin talents Ulfar/Uralon come with respectively)
Base value for your Characteristics have all been increased to 40 (from 30) using the ToyBox mod.
The game save difficulty has been set to Unfair (You are overpowered, until act 3 at least, then the game is ready for you to have a Space Marine. Difficulty spike is real in act 3. You can change the difficulty in the options menu. Grim Darkness mode is NOT enabled.)
The game has been saved at the very start, right after you gain control of your character.

To edit the character to your liking, you will need the ToyBox mod, otherwise you will be stuck with the choices I made during the character creation.
To edit the character's looks, you will need the ReDress mod, otherwise you will be stuck looking exactly as in the screenshots.
I chose the Bahardor preset to create the character.
I have removed the Commissar and Grim Portent features. Removing Commissar fixes visual bugs with the model and a Space Marine wouldn't have a Grim Portent, in my opinion.
The voice has also been changed to friendly Space Wolf and Chaos Space Marine respectively using the ToyBox mod.

Both the SM and CSM versions use the same model (called "DummyUlfar") and have simply had their appearance changed with the ReDress mod.
In my testing using this model, I have had none of the bugs encountered previously. (See posts)
I have tested up until the end of act 3, having recruited Ulfar into my party, with no issues.

NOTE: your character will not be recognised by others as a Space Marine. You'll have to use your imagination and roleplay a little bit. Have fun!
