With over 8000 shader edits, this mod reimplements the fog shader that was used during beta (2012 - 2013). It offers complete artistic control over the looks of the fog, provided with each fog preset.
However there are quite a bit of issues with vanilla since by the default the fog doesn't match vanilla's sky creating odd visual effects (objects are covered in fog that's brighter than the sky).
(Performance) This will decrease your FPS because fog is now calculated twice (vanilla fog + beta fog) since I couldn't reliably disable vanilla fog calculation while adding the beta fog calculation.
(For Mod Developers) By default the game uses FogNextGen from the fog presets, but with this mod, FogNextGen is no longer used and instead options from curveStart to gradColorSides are reenabled.
