As a brief showing, it is possible For all the E3 fanatics who enjoy everything E3 but also enjoy the overhaul of EE. This is obviously a prototype but just as a brief showing it is just as possible as it was when I made the patch for Vlad UI Release: TBD
Interesting. IIRC you mentioned that E3 UI is less stable and 'finished' than Vlad, are you experiencing any additional compatibility issues with EE?
Also, how difficult are these patches to make? Last I heard you mentioned the fact that you have no coding experience and could only 'read' the basics of witcherscript, do these patches require complex modification of the mods scripts or is it mostly the redswf conflicts that are the most difficult to solve? Asking because of pure curiosity, just a few months ago everyone kept telling me that an Vlad UI - EE patch was 'impossible'.
Regarding the first point E3 UI is less polished than Vlad but I would arguably say E3 is more finished than Vlad (Vlad is missing a map for Toussaint and a few loading screens). In terms of compatability its probably a little bit easier than Vlad since Vlad does its own thing a few times
Regarding making patches like these I want to clarify that patches like these are not impossible, just annoying and tedious to do which is why you are unlikely to find someone to do it. The EE Vlad patch had the big problem with MQS, it isn't impossible to patch it, its just tedious to do. So you have to basically find someone willing to make patches like these and aren't too phased by the tediousness and semi unfun nature of redswf editing, someone like me. When making a semi-complex patch like this you can technically get the game to run without editing any of the redswfs as long as the logic from the scripts works. There will be problems of course (In the screenshot you can see the level counter still being visible because I didn't remove it yet in the redswfs) but if you can get through the scripts then thats a good first step Also regarding my skills as a modder: Yes I am incapable of creating mods of my own accord but I have found I'm skilled in taking the work of others and patching them to work together so I've made it my hobby. I cannot create, only modify or destroy
