I was far from that shrine when my screen suddenly faded into grey and then this liberation cutscene. I did not kill a single Ghoul, the random encounter Wild Hunt did it all. Who knew they could actually be helpful. :D

But of course because Geralt was magically teleported back to the site, the warriors immediately attacked him once the cutscene was over.
