Redesigned the plot of some quests to make it more reasonable. Currently 11 quests/scenes included:

1. Reason of State:
Spoiler:
Show
Everyone already felt that this quest makes no sense when Dijkstra suddenly lost his minds to decide to kill Roche when Geralt is there. I tried my best to make it more reasonable by:
1. Added more followers of Dijkstra to make it more realistic that when you try to kill someone especially a witcher, you will need more hands. Now the starting thugs and the reinforcements are both increased.
2. Added an observer of the conflict who may not leave earlier - Philippa Eilhart. She will hide and see what happens.
3. Now Dijkstra will flee when his health is below 10% or his thugs have been killed more than 10. Which makes sense, when the plan doesn't work as intended, he's clever enough to retreat.
4. But Philippa will take the chance to let him die. She still hates Dijkstra, and if Dijkstra occupies the power of Northen Kingdoms, that will be extremely detrimental to her ambitions for power, besides she already plans to serve the Nilfgaard. So she secretly strikes Dijkstra's legs who is running for his life in weakness with magic, make him can't move but crawling, to prevent him escaping from attacking by Geralt and his friends.

2. Stranger in a Strange Land:
Spoiler:
Show
In no way Geralt will be easily kicked down to unconscious as an experienced witcher, just for letting Jorund die? I changed it a little by:
1. Added a bottle under his foot when he's back stepping and parrying for attack so he will stagger, then the thug takes the chance. Now that's the reason why Geralt makes the impossible mistake.
2. Tweaked the scene and the camera, and added the stagger animation to reflect the changes.

3. Gwent: with Lambert:
Spoiler:
Show
At Vesemir's funeral.
Geralt loves the old daddy, Lambert won't say it but he loves more. In no way they are mourning in the last minute and suddenly start to laugh and play card games.
Now the option is disabled after the battle, when old daddy died.
As a downside of this modification, you will lose the last opportunity to play with Lambert (yes, at this perfect moment), so you must play with him earlier. But you can always loot the card after Lambert leaves.

4. Gwent: with Baron:
Spoiler:
Show
After killing the botchling.
Geralt just killed his daughter...he's so mad and sad...perfect time again!
Now dialogue with Baron is disabled until the Pellar‘s ritual is done.

5. Gwent: with Crach:
Spoiler:
Show
After the berserker attack and choosing not to help both his kids.
A slaughter and disaster just happened, and the Craite family has the most suspicion...he definitely has the motion to play Gwent..!
Now dialogue with Crach is disabled until Geralt leaves Kaer Trolde.

6. Isle of Mists:
Spoiler:
Show
It always bothers me that when doing this quest, the popup messages asking manually saving and confirming to go to Isle of Mists really break the immersion.
Now instead of the annoying messages, when getting close to the target, the objective of the quest will update to "Use the magic firefly", and Geralt has to actually use the item to trigger the following scene and teleport to the Isle of Mists. The game will automatically create a manual save here instead of asking to do so, and if you want to do something else before teleporting, just don't use the item and drive your boat away will be fine.
As a downside of this modification, you may fail some side quests that haven't been completed after teleporting to the Isle of Mists, without being reminded by the mandatory warning message in vanilla. But I guess everyone has already known this and we really don't need those immersion breaking messages anymore.

7. Whatsoever a man soweth...:
Spoiler:
Show
Optional objective: Follow Shani to the Academy.
It's very unreasonable also ridiculous that Shani and Geralt discuss their sneaking-in plan just in front of the guards, 1 second after the guards agreed to let Shani in but still forbade Geralt to do so.
Now the scene is totally rearranged. They discuss the plan far away first, then Shani will persuade the guards and go into the academy alone.

8. Gwent: with Smith at Kear Muire:
Spoiler:
Show
The man just lost his son, filled with sorrow...so he's not in the mood to play Gwent with us right after the topic.
Now the Gwent option is disabled for 8 hours (in game) after the first time talking with him. And if you ask him about what happened to his son, the Gwent option will also be disabled until the next time talking with him.

9. Capture the Castle:
Spoiler:
Show
Same with Isle of Mists, now there won't be any annoying mandatory warning message, but the game will automatically create a manual save instead.

10. HoS and BaW tutorial messages:
Spoiler:
Show
In vanilla these tutorial messages will force to display even if the tutorial is turned off in the settings menu. Now they are just removed if the tutorial option is off, when we arrive at Velen for the first time, or we start a HoS or BaW only new game. We know so much that the two expansions exist and will be played later, don't we?

11. Return to Crookback Bog:
Spoiler:
Show
When we refuse to help the Baron to save his wife by returning to Crookback Bog, the game still forces to activate the quest, and if we don't go, the quest will be shown as failed in the journal menu later.
Now when we refuse to help, the quest Return to Crookback Bog won't be activated and so won't be failed later.
Note that the quest won't disappear but turn into a hidden quest, that if we go to Downwarren to meet the Baron later it will be activated again, as the Baron said: "Once you've mulled it over, join us there."

Install to the mods folder. And merge the scripts.
The mod is fully compatible with Brothers In Arms Bug Fix mod. And you should give priority to this mod over BIA (if used).

Thanks to MerseyRockoff, for helping me to solve an issue when making the mod and provide the very useful game save files.
And thanks again to SP3CNAZ, for making the thumbnail!
