About this mod
change geralt texture to look like vesemir 3 variants available game inspired, nightmare of the wolf version and rugged NOTW
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
the mod is pretty straightforward it's a retexture for geralt based mainly on vesemir appearance in the netflix animated movie the nightmare of the wolf, to avoid it just look like other retexture giving geralt a babyface i decided to add the scars he have in the game while it doesn't match his design in the movie i thought it looked good
after some reaction i had on reddit people told me he was too smooth looking so in the end you have three version :
base version - the movie one looking young fresh and ready to seduce noblewoman
rugged version (hybrid version) - scars are more visible and he have extra wrinkles on the eyes and forehead (personal favorite)
game version - much more realistic for some have the moles and blemishes of the actual vesemir texture and his mustache + soul patch light beard
since it's only retexture it mean you won't look like vesemir without the extra mods listed bellow
for face mesh i sugest either new face for geralt (have a retexture included in it will need to give higher priority to vesemir texture) or to use blaviken mesh from banjomir (he got a version for almost all his retexture so pick any of them should be good) you can use any others but i feel those are the best (someone could even make a new mesh for that that would be cool unfortunately it's beyond my current capacities)
if you want the netflix eyes you got many choices but i sugest you use the mod nightmare of the wolf (netflix eyes)
you'll need neutral face mimics if you want the eyebrows to be furrowed like on my shots
to get vesemir hair you'll need geralt deus EX next gen pick the file linked to just have the black hair similar to vesemir hair (will replace rebel elf haircut)
another option would be New Hairstyles and Beards For Geralt (DLC2 Improved) that have olgierd hairstyle that work too you'll need that mod anyway to have the "classic goatee" to make vesemir chin beard
to have the black beard and eyebrows if you use 3d eyebrows you'll need Hair and Beard Equal Color Non-HW
pair all this and your geralt should be transformed into vesemir from the movie =D
dark ursine have good black bear armor recolor that will work smoothly
Kaer Morhen Viper Armor - Netflix Series will give a black kaer morrhen armor with silver studds instead of chainmail
combine those three mods and you'll get two variation of the armor to look like vesemir during the movie

for the pants gloves and boots i'm sure you guy's will have a good imagination ; )
the texture might look different depending of your reshade plus lighting mod and if you are in toussaint i hope there won't be issues as i fear since i use a reshade vesemir might look from an unaturall skin color personally i use icecreamfx ReShade + Promotional Atmosphere Lighting Mod
i must thank Bjorn18, UburUbur and Draiamond who allowed me to use their toxicity map from Ultimate Netflix Henry Cavill Mod of a marvelous quality to put into my vesemir mod it's thanks to them with that little detail that vesemir will look closer to his look in the movie don't hesitate to check their work !
since the toxicity map isn't from me and i use it because of their permission i can't accept anyone to use it, if you want to use something for your own mod ask first, if you do things for yourself that's fine but no mod release without the consent of the person you use the assets, personally for what i created knock yourself out but for the rest no you need to ask their permission
i'm considering to open to commission for people who like retexture but have issue with a specific detail as most of the time the retexture i make are edit i make of already existing mods (it's the whole reason i started modding, i loved wiedzmin face but it was too wrinkled for me lol) since i don't want to release without permission, many people where interested by retexture i showcase in screenshot but 70% of the time it's stuff that i edited from someone else. this "vesemir retexture" is the first i really started from scratch using mainly other npc details and ai to improve the quality of the face textures. still hesitating to start doing commission (it would definetly be something to brag toward my dad to "make money with my pc" lol) but it would be far simpler to edit a retexture to someone liking instead of asking for permission to release a dozen of stuff i done to train and for my self enjoyment and then having people requesting each their own different stuff in the comments.
i don't know if this kind of stuff is allowed modders will put it in the comment if it's not i'll shortly delete that part before to many people get false dream
on that note i wish y'all enjoyment with my mod ; )
