Witcher Horse Gear
1. What this mod does:
This mod adds two new saddles and one new set of saddlebags for Roach. The newly added equipment counts as witcher gear and aims to look accordingly.
Statwise this gear is on the same level as horse gear from the "Blood and WIne" Expansion.
There is currently one saddle that has swords attached to it.
I plan on doing more variants in the future which will feature Grandmaster Swords from the different witcher schools and probably one variant with Iris.
Update: I won't keep this promise because "Swords on Roach" by menschfeind13 is just so much better than this mod. I highly recommend you check out his mod.
Be aware that you need those specific swords to craft the saddle, which means you won't be able to use them as actual weapons anymore. If you want your swords back, just dismantle the saddle.
This mod currently supports English, Polish (thanks to CICHOCIEMNY1234) and German versions of the game.
Note: You may encounter some clipping. But in my opinion it's on an acceptable level that doesn't disturb the immersion of the game.
2. How to install / uninstall:
Unpack witcher_horse_gear.rar and copy everything inside into your Witcher 3 main directory.
To uninstall, just delete the dlc__witcher_horse_gear folder in your DLC folder.
3. How to obtain:
All items that are added by this mod can be found in random loot containers. You can also buy the schematics and saddlebags from various merchants including the quartermaster of Crow's Perch, the Loan Shark, the shady merchant, the Ofieri trader, Countess Mignole and a handful others.
Note that you will need to reach a certain level (usually around 25 - 30) in order to find these items in loot containers or shops.
4. Debug Console Commands:
If you have enabled the debug console you can add items directly into your inventory by opening it and typing:additem("itemID")
for example: additem("Witcher Horse Saddle 1 schematic")
Do not copy paste Debug Console Commands! Type them in manually to make sure everything is working as intended.
