About this mod
Changes the "Enemy Upscaling" setting to also bring higher level enemies down to the player level.
Next-Gen and improved compatibility.

I made this mod to create an even experience across the game because it annoyed me how free exploration of an open-world game was sometimes discouraged by encountering enemies that you simply couldn't deal with because of too severe a level difference, especially during additional playthroughs when you just want to try different orders of doing things.
Now, you can explore wherever you please however early in the game you want without worrying about running into a level "??" griffin.
WHICH VERSION TO USE:
For most situations, use the normal one (not the script annotation version). Definitely try it first. Especially if you are already using the script merger tool, use this one.
Only use the "Script Annotation Version" in the particular situation where you have other mods that make changes to npcs in ways that do not relate to leveling or level bonuses (meaning they do not modify the "AddLevelBonuses" function in the npc.ws script) and the normal one doesn't work (always good to try it first). If that is the case and you want to avoid having to use the script merger, try the script annotation version. It may allow both mods to work without needing the merger tool. If it doesn't though, just use the normal one and use the script merger.
As for the "Plus 5" versions, these just make it so every enemy is scaled to your player level + 5, instead of just your level. It just makes everyone a bit tougher if you want the game to be harder.
INSTALL:
To install, simply copy the "modEnemyDownscaling" or "modEnemyDownscalingREDkitVersion" folder (name will simply depend on which version you use) into your Witcher 3 "Mods" folder.
UPDATE:
The new version is compatible with the Next-Gen update. Also, I just wanted to thank zsadik52 for making a Next-Gen version of this mod available while I was inactive. I'm glad people were able to use it despite me taking a while to update it.
