Here is my take on Angoulême, the last ( but not least ) addition to Geralt's hansa ( a bit aged up i guess, since i couldn’t figure out how to make a teenager actually look like a teenager in this game )
made originally for my own entertainement and as a challenge, I figured it might be uselful to other creatives so i'm sharing it here:
This source mod contains 3 new hairstyles, 2 variant of a new unique outfit and a Face model
new assets :
Spoiler: Show
h_01_angouleme.w2ent -> face
t_01_anouleme.w2ent -> ( yes with the typo ) outfit with the vest
t_02_angouleme.w2ent -> outfit without the vest
c_01_angouleme.w2ent -> short hair
c_02_angouleme.w2ent -> short hair with headband
c_03_angouleme.w2ent -> long hair with large headband ( closer to the book description )
I have chosen to swap her with Syanna, since i needed a lot of appearance slots to fit all the variations possible and a sword fighting AI, but feel free to make your own swap to any character you want with any outfit you want
appearance slots used :
Spoiler: Show
syanna -> vest + short hair
syanna_ribbon -> vest + short hair with headband
syanna_red_hood_on -> vest + long hair with large headband
syanna_red_hood_off -> no vest + short hair
syanna_red_hood_off_no_cloak -> no vest + short hair with headband
syanna_red_hood_on_no_cloak -> no vest + long hair with large headband
This is a modder ressource !
this 'mod' is made for the creative people who want to make screenshots,
stories or simply play around with book characters that we never see in-game
this 'mod' is in fact a storage, containing new assets that doesn’t replace anything in game so they will be perfectly useless on their own
and will require an additional ‘ swap’ mod to implement the models in game (
i provide one, if you want to swap to another character You will have to make it yourself )
here's a quick video showing how to access the assets and swap them to any npc :
- i highly recommend a manual install
- unzip and drop the ' modAngouleme_source' file in your witcher 3 'mods' folder ( create it,if needed )
- done ! the new assets are now at your disposal, use a swap mod to see them in-game (either the one provided here, or make one yourself ) to fully profit from it I highly recomend you use one of the recomended mod listed below
- BLOOD AND WINE AND HEARTS OF STONE EXTENSIONS ARE REQUIRED
- Main File is required for any swap mod to function
- Hair physics aren’t always optimal but unfortunately i don’t think i can do better than this
- some clipping
- SBUI - SoryboardUI - using the ‘quest’ entity you should be able to use and pose the swapped character as you’d like
- multi companion mod - Spawn the swapped character and run around the map with them! some might even fight by your side ;)
