Did it bother you when they changed most skills levels, from 5 to 3 and their respectives stats in the Next Gen Edition of The Witcher 3? If it's your case, you're probably going to like this mod. It restore the original system of 5 levels per skills, original stats with few improvements.

This mod restore original skills levels to 5 and their respectives values, like in the last version of The Witcher 3 prior to Next Gen Edition Update. I liked that system and when I saw some players complains about the new skills leveling system, I decided to make this mod to remedy to this situation. If you want to use it on an already created character, you have to either start a new one or to use some debug console commands to reset your character development including skills progression and make those changes apply. In Vanilla, the only one I know that can do that is : cleardevelop
If you want to get those changes without resetting your character development, let me recommend you a very useful mod. Cleardevelop from wghost81. Improves vanilla "cleardevelop" console command, so it no longer resets your character to level 1, but does a proper cleanup and skill tree rebuilding while keeping all the items, level, skill points and mutagens. Adds several new console commands for setting up player level for testing purposes. Of course, you will probably want to install it in your Next Gen Edition of The Witcher 3, here's its Next Gen Update.
I personally like both, I didn't play extensively on Next Gen Edition system so I couldn't tell which one I like the most, I feel like NG's is more convenient for the reduced amount of Skill Points to invest, (Legacy : 280 Vs 201 Next Gen), so I'll probably stick to Next Gen Edition, so I can max out more skills in a single playthrough without modding. I did this little adaptation for the people who didn't like the new skills leveling system.
Installation : Simply place ''modRestoreOriginalSkills'' in your ''Mods'' folder inside the game directory Merge your xml files or give this one priority if you want those changes to apply Read descriptions if you want to get the changes, or they will not apply until your next playthrough.
