Initial Release
About The Mod ==-- This is just a minor script based mod to disable the in-game looting menu and allow Geralt to automatically loot all items from any lootable source. Locked checks and chests marked as owned will still operate in their usual way, you will still need to find a key and guards will still react to you stealing etc...
This mod works on 99% of containers however some containers may still show a loot menu if hard-coded by the game due to the presence of quest items in the loot data.
Built using scripts from the Steam 4.0.4 NG version of the game.
Why choose this Mod ==-- Everybody plays the game differently and people want different things... with that being said, auto looters are always popular as it removes the tedium of looting and they are great at allowing you to get on with things and not having to worry about missing any items.
Now there are some pretty big down sides to auto looters, they grab items that your not supposed to be able to access yet through walls and such which can break the balance of the game, they also break certain quest containers that are hardcoded to set quest progression based on the 'Player' activating them.
What this mod does is perfect for how I play the game, I like balance and I like looting but I hate the loot menu as it seriously slows me down when I'm sprinting somewhere and I want to quickly loot a corpse or container that's in my path.
With this mod installed you can simply just activate the thing you want to loot and all its items that would normally be in the loot menu will automatically transfer to your inventory and not interrupt whatever you are doing.
Modified Files ==-- None
Compatibility Notes ==-- Incompatible with mods based on W3EE such as W3EE Redux, I do not use large overhaul mods and as such have no desire to create a patch for it. If anyone wants to create a patch and host it then great.
Installation ==-- Simply extract the archive to your '/The Witcher 3' directory or install with the mod manager of your choosing.
You may get a prompt to overwrite some files, this is because this mod shares some common utilities with some of my other mods like Progress on the Path, and Botanist as well as Random Encounters Reworked by Aeltoth.
You can safely overwrite as all files are identical.
Auto Take All comes with a PowerShell script to automate the installation of user settings and key binds, feel free to use that if your not comfortable adding them manually.
Don't forget to update your file lists so the menu shows in game with Menu Filelist Updater.
