Description

Sometimes when your Gwent addiction kicks in, you just rush to the nearest guy to you who has a deck and start playing. Depending on the
degree of addiction the same guy may be played against over and over again. The amount and type of crafting components you can get is random, but the game has a mechanism which reduces the amount you can get from the same NPC after every match, ultimately leading to anything of just one unit. To some this may become somehow less rewarding (although the most rewarding thing is undoubtedly Gwent itself, right?).

If you play against every new player you meet, you may find this: after all of the random cards were collected, the remaining players would never reward you anything (except for the coin you bet), which supposedly should be a few crafting components.

The junk item lead is included in the 'crafting components' reward pool, which may be accidentally left over from cut content. It can not be dismantled nor needed to craft anything, so it shouldn't be given as rewards.

So this mod made the following changes to make every round of Gwent you win become a bit more satisfying without breaking the vanilla experience:

  • Winning a round of Gwent always yields rewards, either a card or crafting components.
  • Rewards from the same player have no more amount decline.
  • Lead is removed from the possible crafting component rewards.
