Get the Manticore set as reward, and a nice armor+weapon stand to display what you want in Geralt's chamber in Kaer Morhen.

In the cinematic's opening of the first game, Geralt accept a contract that lead him to fight a strigga. During the scene, we can saw Geralt wearing the manticore armor. We know from the book that this event happen before Ciri was born and before the event of the game's trilogy. But were did the armor goes ?
I like to think that after this intense fight, Geralt needed to rest and acquire new gear as the armor deaply suffer from the strigga's assault. So he return to Kaer Morhen and leave all of the set behind. Vesemir couldn't just throw it away, so he intended to repare them.

After many year, Vesemir finally got the chance to show you the result his work. After White Ochard events, he return to Kaer Morhen, and while waiting for Geralt to show up, put the armor and the swords on nice stand in Geralt's chamber.

  • The recquire level for the set is 30 / 60 for NG+.
  • The armor was define as a light armor.
  • The stat have been tweaked*, so it is in line with other superior/master witcher set.
  • To make the set more appealing, the two GM bonus have been kept on the base set.
  • To balance it a bit, rune slot of the base set have been decreased.
  • The schematics found in Toussain allow you to "Enhanced" the set. Their location is the same as usual.
  • The "Enhanced" Manticore armor looks like the armor you normally got in NG+.
  • The "Enhanced" Manticore set has the same stat as in vanilla. 
  • Crafting recipes have been tweak so it get a unique name. You also need the first level item to craft the upgrade.
  • The stands can be re-used to display any armor and swords.

!!! WARNING !!!
Since the 1.1 version, all the edits previously done to vanilla xml files were moved to the dlc. But to work properly, i needed to edit the quest file 'Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear'. DO NOT uninstall this mod on an ongoing playthrough : it will cause issues and at
worse can softlock the corresponding quest.

Look in script merger for any conflict. If you've any conflict, this mod must have the priority to work properly.

Installation

Download and extract the file on your The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY folder.
