About this video

Hi all, i don't usually submit videos on updates but i feel this one may interest people as it completely changes how you can manage your mods, your merges and your modlists in a good way.

Basically the modlist manager is a tool that originally allowed us to swap between large modlists in a single click and it also supported modlists imports. It means that a single modlist could be used by two other modlists to complement their mods. A good example is the case of HDRP as it is an heavy mod that you don't want to copy every time you create a modlist. With the modlist manager you simply create a modlist with all your texture mods and then you import it with no additional cost and in a less than a second. (You can watch the other videos i made about the tool to learn more about that)

Back to the topic of the video. The updates adds a way to package merged modlists so that script merged sees the full modlist as only a single script mod. This combined with the previous import feature means you can now pre-merge modlists and re-use the merge in your different modlists. An example i show is the two suits of LEGO mods and Friendly mods, they're composed of many mods and are in almost any modlist i make, especially the Friendly mods. So i merge them now and pack the two LEGO and Friendly modlists and i know i won't have to merge them ever again, it's like i have two mods i can just drop in my modlists now but they're in reality composed of a dozen of mods.

To go further, you can now share the packaged modlists to your friends with the cool mods you already merged and they won't have to bother merging them as the scriptmerger will see it as if it was a single mod. A future update of the modlist manager will probably include a modlist browser where people can share and submit pre-merged modlists for anyone to import in a single click.
