More DLC announced, Honest Hearts coming May 17

  • Comment
Bethesda has provided more information about the next three DLC: Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road.

Honest Hearts will be released on May 17th. Honest Hearts sends you on an expedition to Zion National Park in Utah, but your caravan is of course ambushed along the way. Later the Courier becomes involved in a war between a "New Canaanite missionary" and the Burned Man. The first official screenshot from Honest Hearts has also been released along with the announcement.

Next, Old World Blues will release sometime in June. In this DLC, you'll learn more about mutated creatures when you "unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry." Apparently you can either "turn the tables" on your kidnappers or join them.

Ending the summer releases (but not necessarily the DLC), Lonesome Road will launch sometime in July. This last DLC will reveal more history about the Courier when Courier Six, also named Ulysses, contacts you to explain why he refused to deliver the platinum chip. Of course, before telling you anything, he'll make you do a job in the Divide, a "land torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms."

You can read Bethesda's self-congratulatory press release on the BethBlog.

I messed around some in the GECK, and Graham uses the raider race. I tried changing it to ghoul, but it resulted in clipping issues with the head bandages. I might try using a custom race with the human mesh and ghoul texture. His nose would look funny, but we'd never see it.

  2. What you can see of Graham's skin is disappointing. I'm probably changing his race to ghoul as soon as I get this.

Wouldn't work. The bandages are part of his race's model

New vid on GameTrailers.com. Look at 00:36 - Thompson SMG! Not the older model with typical drum mag, but maybe it will be a mod.

Plus there seem to be tribal versions of many weapons.

dudes, you didnt listen the storyes about he? he was the most strong of the world, he was one of the guys who survived the c4 explocion on boulder city, also that is a story (caesar want he dead) so is not 100% true , maybe they dont burn all and maybe he fall on the colorado river. then he wont suffer so much dammage and if he is THAT strong, then is possible. and remember that if he had enough luck he could protect his fingers and his eyes being on fetal possition at the time of the fall, and the hair ... well he cant be so lucky.

Joshua Graham's reputation is based on existing information gleaned from Van Buren resources.

And if Van Buren had come out, I would be on the VanBurenNexus.com forums pointing out
Joshua Graham and how being hanged and burned would had left him in the condition I described,
while replacing the being tossed into the Grand Canyon damage, with Having a broken neck from being hanged <img class=">

Joshua Graham's reputation is based on existing information gleaned from Van Buren resources. In Van Buren, you started out imprisoned in a certain location, and upon escaping you'd find a severely burned man hanging by the neck at the prison gate, Joshua Graham.

As it turns out, hanging him just makes him angry. He was going to be without parallel in combat in VB, with the drawback that he's openly hostile (attacks on sight,) to all factions and nearly all settlements/towns/etc.
