Skin rework of Jinhsi that make her more like a surreal goddess with permanent horns. A lot of details and color tones were improved, it's clearly one of my best work for wuthering waves.

"You waited for a long time in front of the white rabbit hole, suddenly its shape magically stretches and dilates then a huge package marked with a dragon symbol is ejected in your arms..."

Before anything don't panic : Yes! You can choose between 3 mod variants for different skin tones :

  • Vanilla Skin (FYI Jinhsi has by far the whitest skin of all characters)
  • Slightly Taned Skin (Around Rover/Chixia's skin tone)
  • Dark Skin (Experimental, but stable enough)

     Of course I knew a dark skin on Jinhsi was a risky take / very drastic change and I didn't want to force you into that. So I worked really hard to multiply all edits on skin textures by 3 to give people the choice.

     This mod is by far the one I worked/refined the most. With probably way more than 50hours of work spread on a 2 month period, it was even harder than my Carlotta mod even if the palette is not changing much. I kept delaying it again and again over the time to gather more experience and improve the skills I needed to pass some crucial steps. Hence I can say all my previous mods helped me to improve my Jinhsi piece by piece.

     Before giving you the (huge) list of changes, I hope you guys will notice and enjoy all the new details I sweated on. That would be awesome if most of you could at least try once the dark skin version, it's that crazy idea that mainly drived my motivation through time. I was originally inspired by those badass white hair/dark skin anime characters like Scar (FMA), Yoruichi (Bleach) or Rumi (MHA) to make Jinhsi somekind of a surrealist awaken goddess, not so human anymore.  
 

  • 3D edit : Permanent horns (bigger size than original ones, improved textures)
  • 3D edit : White "Mayor Scarf" between breasts removed (corrected shadows)
  • 3D edit : Breasts shape modified (Breasts slightly bigger and with a more naturally spread on sides)
  • 3D edit : Breast top more spread on side (was too centered)
  • 3D edit : Earring size slightly reduced
  • 3D edit : The big outer skirt/mantle is a little shorter downside
  • 3D edit : The black inner skirt is much thiner (was wayyy too thick)
  • 3D edit : Side strap bad collision with a gold ring of pending fabric corrected
  • 3D edit : Face mole position slightly changed (yes it's a 3D object!)

  • Horn textures improved from base game ones (metal, color and hairs)
  • Hairloops bowties moved to vert-de-gris gradients with golden markings
  • Eye color changed to a glowing vert-de-gris with dark sclera
  • Slight additional eye shade make up
  • Slight lipstick added on lips
  • Earring outer parts are now gold, center part is now white and vert-de-gris
  • Details/Shadows/Specular/Normalmaps improved on torso armor pieces
  • Breast clothe pieces golden triple edges now have a more shiny gold texture
  • That same golden triple edge pattern has been fully created on boots upper part
  • Crossed "prayers" on left arm now have vert-de-gris gradients and improved gold markings
  • Shadows projected on skin by other elements have been carefully created (ribs, clothes, straps)
  • Shadows on boobs and torso have been improved
  • "Mayor scarf" previous shadows have been removed accordingly
  • Boots were redesigned with a dark take resonnating with upper body armor parts
  • Coat/Mantle gets a "wave" dragon spine-like pattern with colored gradients on sides
  • Strap ties on sides moved to black (for more complexity)
  • Right shoulder grey wave pattern gain more details and unified palette.
  • Traditional landscape print on twin veils (outer) is replaced by a color gradient
  • Twin veils (outer) now have one more golden line and complexe golden patterns on edges
  • Cross laces between twin veils (outer) changed to deep vert-de-gris
  • Back twin veils (inner) gets a glowing green color (like insect/fairy wings)
  • Left arm floating sleeve gets a custom made pattern that reminds those on front
  • Rings at the end of each hair tails gets a more complexe palette
  • Front and back vertical lines on "Corset" are now filled with vert-de-gris
  • "Corset" back line pattern have been modified for a less abrupt end
  • Numerous markings have been removed for better detail balance
  • Black inner-skirt markings have been modified for a more harmonious one
  • Wrist band have a more complexe design with a glowing line
  • All straps now have custom handmade normal map
  • Nails have been lacquered with a vert-de-gris hue
  • Most of strap ends now have a golden metal tie instead of black
  • Some (too faint) gold hues were corrected (shoe heels, armband, etc.)
  • Some gold areas/details were added (laces eyes, strap ends, left hand rings)
  • Grey devices on spine have been darkened
  • Weapon gold hue is now same as her clothes
  • Weapon pending clothe piece moved to vert-de-gris
  • All skin-to-straps areas are reworked for more volumes and light/shadow complexity
