This mod adds new Dreadnaught and Battlecruiser classed ships (as well as some new turrets for them), Dreadnaught Shipyards, and Golan IV Battle Stations to the Star Wars Interworlds total conversion mod.
DABC overhauls XL/XXL ship icons, makes some QoL adjustments, add equipment arts, and adds some various sandbox content like new stations and abandoned ships.
All ships, weapons, engines, etc. added by this mod support Universal, Sith (Terran), and Closed Loop build methods.
By adding this new class of ship, XXL, above XL the goal is to extend out the mid and late stages of the game to allow for longer playthroughs.
5 XLs won't be enough to paint the map any color you want anymore in this mod; in the same way that 5 Ls would be not enough without this mod.
Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer
Fielded by: Galactic Empire
Player acquisition: Researched
Lusankya Star Dreadnaught
Fielded by: None
Player acquisition: Researched
Built as a sister ship to the Executor, the Lusankya trades its long range turbo lasers for a loadout more focused on point defense, increased subordinate capacity, and increased radar range. (Variant of an SWI Executor-class)
Mandator II-class Star Dreadnaught (Standard, Clone Era, Imperial, Mandalorian)
Fielded by: CSA, Kamino, Ascendancy, Mandalorian Deathwatch
Player acquisition: Researched
These mighty ships are remnants of KDY's supremacy during the Clone Wars, and are the strongest ships available to many of these factions. They feature a single L dock at the front of the ship that can hold one of the following ships: Arquitens, Hardcell Frigate, Imperial Light Cruiser, Interceptor Frigate, Nebulon B, Pelta, or Praetorian.
Annihilator-class Star Dreadnaught
Fielded by: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Researched
The Annihilator is a powerful siege dreadnaught featuring a triplet of unique siege turbolasers across its spine.
Bellator MK2/A-class Star Dreadnaught
Fielded by: None
Player acquisition: Researched
The Bellator MK2 is a 50% larger and 25% stronger version of the standard Bellator model. The MK2A version is a stealthed-out iteration, sporting dark grey components.
Sundari-class Dreadnaught
Fielded by: MDW
Player acquisition: Researched
The Sundari-class Dreadnaught is an ancient ship born in the Mandalorian Wars of 3976 BBY. Slow and fragile by modern standards, but still packs a significant punch.
Veragitor-class Battlecruiser
Fielded by: Kamino
Player acquisition: Researched
The Veragitor-class Battlecruiser, also known as a Republic Battlecruiser, is a Clone Wars era "Super Venator" designed to brawl with the largest of Separatist forces.
Mandator III-class Star Dreadnaught
Fielded by: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Researched
The Mandator III is a near-equal to the Executor-class in strength, being slower but having stronger firepower at close range. Additionally, the Mandator III sports 8 unique docks that can hold only the large size Lancer-class, in addition to its normal small and medium docks.
Strident-class Star Defender
Fielded by: NRL
Player acquisition: Researched
The Strident-class is the New Republic's answer to the dreadnaughts of the Empire, and sports lots of medium and small docking bays and an assortment of heavy weaponry.
Titan-class Star Destroyer
Fielded by: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Researched
Titan-classes are the apex of the Imperial-class's classic design. Utilizing heavy weaponry and a larger version of the XX9 turbolaser tower, this battleship represents Imperial authority.
Compellor-class Battlecruiser
Faction: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Researched
The Compellor-class sacrifices many of its hangar bays compared to its sister ship, the Impellor-class, in order to focus on raw firepower
Impellor-class Battlecruiser
Faction: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Researched
The Impellor-class was designed to combine firepower of two ISD II with the fighter complement of two ISD I in just one ship.
Praetor Mark II-class Battlecruiser
Fielded by: Empire
Player acquisition: Researched
The newer version of the Clone Wars-era Praetor battlecruiser, the Mark II gets increased weaponry and shielding and new engines curtesy of Imperial shipwrights.
Procurator II-class Battlecruiser
Faction: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Researched
A relatively new design on the galactic scale, the Procurator II brings both fierce firepower and a large hangar to its engagements. The Ascendancy may deploy two at once, and the player is not restricted.
Resurgent-class Star Destroyer
Fielded by: Ascendancy
Player acquisition: Purchased
The Ascendancy's answer to the Allegiance, the Resurgent trades the additional armaments of the former for much more durable hull and shielding.
Gravitus-class Battleship
Fielded by: ICG
Player acquisition: Purchased
This up-gunned and up-shielded Lucrehulk-class brings much-needed firepower to the frontlines of the ICG. (Variant of an SWI Lucrehulk Battleship)
Harrower II-class Battlecruiser
Fielded by: Sith
Player acquisition: Purchased
A terrifying new addition to Sith forces, this up-scaled and redesigned Harrower wields dozens of turrets with a large hangar.
Allegiance-class Star Destroyer
Fielded by: Empire
Player acquisition: Purchased
The Imperial-class's older brother, the Allegiance loses a hangar in exchange for XL turrets and more overall firepower.
Secutor-class Star Destroyer (Standard, Imperial)
Fielded by: CSA, Empire
Player acquisition: Purchased
Secutors take advantage of the Venator's iconic bridge design, while also serving as a massive carrier, ferrying a swarm of starfighters into battle.
Providence-class Dreadnaught
Fielded by: ICG
Player acquisition: Purchased
While the same size as SWI's Providence-class carrier, the dreadnaught variant carries a slough of missile launchers and additional weapons, along with having extra shielding. (Variant of an SWI Providence-class)
Golan IV-class Battle Station
Fielded by: ASC, CSA, ICG, IMP, NRL, MDW
Player acquisition: Purchased
Built as a more powerful successor to the Golan III, the Golan IV was larger and better armed; nearly that double a Golan III in every metric. Comprised of custom Defence, Storage, Habitation, and Equipment Dock modules featuring 32 Small and 8 medium docks.
- Added scripted ambush encounter featuring a Harrower II derelict.
- Added 23 primarily S, and a few M, class abandoned derelicts to the open world. These follow similar randomization rules as the Katana.
- Added 3 battle graveyards to random unclaimed sectors. These feature abandoned remains of an L or M ship surrounded by the derelicts of several fighters from two factions and lots of debris. These are harder to find than Katanas.
Icons for XL and XXL size ships have been overhauled. The philosophy is that when you look on the map, you should be able to immediately recognize a ship based on its icon and icon scale relative to other ships.
Huge ships should instill the same sense of dread on the map as when you see them out in space.
All sub-mod ship icons have been designed with this in mind, and there are new icons for all SWI XL ships.

Tweaks
- Removes Jumpgate Rings - Dreadnaughts need this to be able to go through the gates.
- Added lots of equipment art for various turrets, components, and missiles.
- Removes collision from Cargo Drones, Repair Drones, and Boarding Pods - No more getting stuck on XS objects - even smaller XL ships get stuck on these/have travel drive charge interrupted by them.
- More small adjustments to LoDs, shadows, view distance, and rendering parameters than any single other mod. Big ships need big performance optimizations.
- Adjusted friendly fire hit thresholds as follows. Kill penalties are left alone. When these ships have 100+ turrets it is too easy for an errant shot to cause a war by accident with vanilla settings.
- XL/XXL 8 hits -> 20
- L 8 hits -> 15
- M 2 hits -> 8
- S 1 hits -> 3
Balance/ImplementationNow that SWI has added three XXL class ships of its own, DABC now follows SWI's lead on ship balance and job distribution.
- Equipment Tooltips by Mycu - In the loadout screen you can now mouse over a Turret, Shield etc. to see its stats, no more going back and forth to the Encyclopedia.
- Reaper's Ship Pack - Adds multiple new variants of existing ship models. Made by a member of the DABC Team and is intended to run together.
