This small Script changes the job.xml to prevent the Pirates and Buccanners from shooting Satellites. I hated that they killed the Satellites in some Sectors, so i changed their Job to not kill Satellites (everything else is not touched!). This could be seen as a cheat, but for me it was just annoying...
This Mod can be added to a running Game, but it will take a while to take effect, as changes to the jobs.xml will only affect new Jobs. So, you can wait till NPCs will kill the SCA / BUC Ships and they respawn with the new Jobs or kill them by yourself :)
As long as a mod don't change the SCA / BUC Part in the jobs.xml to much, it shouldn't have compatibility issues.
I tested it with my current save and didn't have issues.
