This mod adds new sectors to the X Universe.

This sector mod comes from J.L. (from Steam). I manage this mod here on Nexus in his name.

Contents of the mod:
This mod creates new sectors.
These have not yet been taken over by other races.
The mod also works with older save gamesThe asteroids' resources have been increased, especially Nividium has been better adapted.
(This part cannot be separated from the mod because several things have been changed.)
The "Thor Arena" sector is a pure combat sector, there are weapon platforms there.From Khaak / Xenon / Terran, as well as several fighter squadrons (Yaki are also there).
To ensure you have fun, there are only hunters in the arena, so only go in with one hunter.More ownerless ships have been distributed, I wasn't thrifty either.(Text taken from J.L.)

Since J.L. has reported back on Steam, which made me very happy, there are now some changes for this mod on Nexus.The original version by J.L. will be the same as on Steam.
I will continue the alternative version and will be a standalone mod from now on. So you can decide whether you want to install J.L.'s mod or mine. This will then update separately and at some point, when the changes become too big, will have its own page. They are therefore no longer compatible and cannot be used together.

100% compatible with the mod “XPANed Sectors Advanced” from version 10.3.x for more sectors.
(Please do not confuse it with the mod "XPANed Sectors" which is not up to date even if it has been listed under the updates.)

  • Synchronisation with the Steam version of J.L this was updated to on 22.03.2025.
    - The version number has been adjusted.
    - The sector "Abandoned Outpost and Lonely Giant" has been given a different position.

  • The sectors Mysterious Facility I + II only have 2 gates to nearby sectors.

  • BugFix: The gates in Omicron Alpha, Silent Witness and Aldrin Polar Star were deactivated for players. This error has now been fixed.
  • All factions can take possession of the sectors.
  • There are no more Xenon weapon platforms in different sectors

  • In this alternative version, the two sectors “Mysterious Facility I + II” do not exist.

Installation:
  • Download the mod
  • Unpack the zip file into the game folder.
