Let it be known, after a Wave's initial release, there will likely be a few updates the next following days, as I am either fixing a newly-discovered bug, or adjusting a weapon's size/damagers/handles based on personal or public opinion. So I will say, sorry in advance for frequent updates, but it is inevitable for all Waves.

1/26/21 Note: I just wanted to thank this community for the attention it's shown my work here. This mod has only been released for a little over 4 days, and it already has close to 1000 DLs, which is insane (it's a lot more that I'm used to). I just wanted to say thanks, and, while the updates might have a good bit of time between them because of schoolwork, that there are more updates planned for the future. Thanks to all who read this and download my mod(s)!

2/1/21 Note: It was recently announced that a lot of stuff in U8.4B8 will change, and, by extension, break almost all mods of mine. That being said, I'll probably hold off developing any more Waves until U8.4B8 comes out to save myself the time and effort (I have a lot of mods to update, and a lot of other stuff to do instead of modding). I hope you all understand!

2/11/21 Note: First of all, I want to say thank you again for pushing this mod over 2K DLs! It really means a lot to me, and I hope y'all keep enjoying the mods and content I put out. Now on the other hand, I wanted to discuss my U8.4b8 update, and how it's temporarily changed some things. The main change is how colliderGroups work now, which has not only caused some update delay, but also has forced me to remove Gravity Slam from most weapons that had it. I myself (and I'm sure other modders) don't know exactly how the new groups work, but using the CrystalStaff colliderGroupID causes weapons to not play collision sounds on hit, so I removed the feature on all weapons that didn't need it (although it has been kept/added onto weapons like the Fire/Prism/Magical Rod and Old/High/Royal Dominion Rod). I am planning on adding Gravity Slam back to those weapons once I can mess with the colliderGroups a bit more, but until then I'd rather have my weapons fully functional instead of including a minor feature.

2/23/21 Note: This Wave (Wave 7) was intended to be generally small, as I wanted to give myself a breather and end the pack with a burst of content! That being said, the next Wave is the last planned update, but I am still missing some weapon models, and also need to see if it's possible to make crossbows. If you do come across models for the Guardian's Scepter, Scepter of Souls, White Bunny Hammer, or Nice Hammer, please DM me and let me know, as those are the only melee weapons missing from my backlog. Thanks for downloading and playing!

2/27/21 Note: This update (Wave 8) will be the last major update for a while, as I have no more weapons to add to the pack. The only weapons I might add in the future are the Guardian's Scepter, Scepter of Souls, White Bunny Hammer, Nice Hammer, or Linkle's Crossbows, but that's all assuming I can find models & textures for those weapons & if crossbows are successfully modded into the game. Either way, thank you all for following me along this venture, and I hope you keep enjoying my content!

I dont know if this is going to be updated one day to U12, but I believe we can hope. I used to go on my computer every day to see if this updated, and im sad to see it gone. Thank you mod maker, for being amazing

Probably not. I currently only work with weapons, and I don't think I could do it/have the desire to make NPC mods. If someone else does take it up though, I'd be fine if they showcased it with my weapons!

I've been trying to work on updating all my mods when I can, but it's been very hard for me to find time for it. There will definitely be updates in the B&S discord and my discord when they are updated however!

It's supposed to work in U9.3, at least it did during my test runs yesterday.

Thank you for updating this to 8.4b8 so quickly, the lack of mods was getting boring.

That kinda sounded rude. I meant mods in general, not saying you were being slow. I understand mods being slow with so many updates, but everyone is doing great!

Late response, but glad you've been enjoying this mod. Granted, this particular mod pack takes much longer to update than others (having 74 weapons total), but I get around to it eventually. Thanks for the comment!

Absolutely love this. I primarily use these weapons. I do have a request/question. I know canonically link is left handed so he uses his shields on his right arm, but Is there any chance of making a version or including in current version shields for the left arm? I know they can be held with the left as the are now, but the positioning when held with left is weird.Idk if the sdk allows you to flip models like that or not.

Thanks for all your hard work and keep up the great work!

I'm not exactly sure how I'd go about flipping the model (although I also think doing that would make the item list a bit too cluttered), but I could just try mirroring the left grip to the right (I also use shields on my left so maybe it'd feel better), although some might find issue with holding on to nothing. If I do decide to do that though, it'd probably be added during the next update alongside some other changes/alterations.

Glad you like my mod! <3

You can check the changelog for details, but it basically adds some new weapons and alters some pre-existing things.

This mod is amazing! just out of curiosity, are you thinking about making a Breath of the wild weapons pack? ( or a pack with certain weapon variants like Rusty weapons, Travelers weapons, Zoro weapons, Royal Guard weapons. Etc.)

I probably could, but most of the models currently avalible are bow models, so I'd either do it once more models are ripped, or I could rip them myself (which I'd rather not do). I will put it in my backlog though for future reference. If you want a taste, I did make a Traveler's Pack (Traveler's Sword & Shield) and it's all up-to-date.

Hate to sound a bit picky, but I noticed on the Goddess Sword, the blade isn't too centered in the middle of the handle. Sword works fine and all, just not really centered. I haven't played Wave 7 yet, so I apologize if this comment is for nothing. But it's still great (and has me extra hyped for Skyward Sword HD)

I don't know if I'm just being dumb, but I don't think I can see any issues with the model. All models were imported from the in-game files, so they should be 1-1 with Hyrule Warriors (or maybe I'm just unclear with what you're saying). I would like to try and figure out what your issue is though, so we can either keep talking here or you can PM me through Discord or in the B&S server (https://discord.com/invite/bladeandsorcery) which would be easier for me.

I don't know how to explain, but it's really not a big deal. If they came from the game itself, then it just must be like that. It's fine, they all still work just fine. And glad to see Wave 8, thanks for making U9 a bit more interesting

If it is something that seems like it's an issue on my end, you can DM me and I can try and look into it. That being said, thank you for the heartfelt message, really means the world to me!

absolutely love this, been using it since wave 2
I've had no issue with it.
But with the most recent update introducing the Trident and Naginata, I have to ask, why are they so small?

I did make all the Tridents a bit bigger with Wave 7, but I didn't really think the Naginatas were too small. If I remember to do it, I could scale 'em up a bit bigger (now that I am looking at a reference, they seem to be a bit taller than Impa).

2/24/21 00:48 Edit: After a careful review of in-game appearance compared to my B&S weapons, I have concluded that I wildly underestimated some of my weapons' sizes and have changed a few of them according to what I saw (including the Giant's/Biggoron's Knives/Sword, Phantom Swords, Naginatas, and Tridents).

      That's awesome!
Pole arms are usually my favourites, so I'd found it suspicious that a Naginata had shorter range than a great sword
Thanks for listening to feed back, keep on keeping on
