Just want to say that thank you for making this mod. I already finished survival 2 in PS4 years ago and I don't want to grind many hours all over again in PC so this mod saves me tons of hours from grinding. I am currently playing survival 2 on fresh save. Just played around 20 hours and never had any issues or crashes. Mod works with sidearm and as well as primary weapons.
To anyone who might stumble upon this comment, just a suggestion, you don't have to rename the whole folder. Instead, inside the folder is a file called "startuppackages.pak", rename it into something like "startuppackages_mod.pak" and it will work. Like I said, I played around 20 hours and never had any issues.
I'm using Vortex and this mod works just fine! Chances r, the mod is conflicting with another mod tht you also have installed! In my case it was conflicting with another mod. this mod below conflicts with infinite Ammo. once i removed tht conflicting mod, infinite ammo worked just fine: https://www.nexusmods.com/daysgone/mods/253
Also! to check to see if the mod is working properly, in game, check your wheel if you see lil infinity signs next to ur weapons thn your good! if ya don't thn its defo conflicting with another mod or ya didn follow tht installation process properly. always read the description on the mod page for install info and or any other mentioned conflicting mods b4 Down loading any mods.
This doesn't work. I tried the reserve ammo side and my guns reserve ammo keeps dropping. Even for the crossbow
Edit. Ok Found out issue. John Wick Mod breaks it
Edit2: AK doesn't seem to have infinate ammo, even with reserve ammo.. the Mil Tech Crossbow no infinate reserve ammo. But pistol does. Not sure whats going on here
Edit 3: So upon getting a new automatic rifle, that one too doesn't have infinate ammo, The Trust Level 2 SMG from Hot Springs seems to work with the infinate reserve ammo though
