   i dont have or cant find the save folder anwhere. my game is pirated and i dont have identical files like other people so things are diffrent. does this just go into the paks folder like everything else??

   install the debug cheat
   download and paste the save file
   load the game ( already new game+ skipped the prologue)
   change the difficulty with debug cheat
   save game.
   load game .
   enjoy

   guys u can change difficulty with debug cheat menu mod, then reload your save, worked for me

   Also, can't start a NG+ with these files.  File not as described.
   
   Forced to play on Survival II difficulty.

      Works fine for me. Do you have any mods activated or just the vanilla mode of the game?
