I think something is wrong with the GOG version (I've tested with v1.19) of this game. It is as if the game isn't using the values inside the prison_mode.scr file and has default values hardcoded somewhere else. If anyone know or find a fix, please share with us.
UPDATE: I've found a way for the mod to work. Extracting the modded prison_mode.scr file from DataDLC39_0.pak and placing it in the "%userprofile%\Documents\DyingLight\out\data\scripts" folder does it (create the full folder path if it doesn't exist) . It seems the old non-packed method works better with the GOG version.
To confirm what I did, I extracted the modded prison_mode.scr file from the DataDLC39_0.pak that I downloaded from here. I then placed it into "%userprofile%\Documents\DyingLight\out\data\scripts" (creating the folder path as it didn't exist before)
this quit working - previously mine was setup using the manual edit method - once it quit working I checked the setting, thinking maybe it got replaced in an update - nope, same setting but broken, deleted the dlc folder, did file check, made the same changes, still only ever get 1 min no matter what values I change
Hello. I have tested before (a few months ago) and it worked fine, but now (09/2021) it's not working. The game doesn't even start. The mod is very useful. It would be great if you fixed it.
You can create this mod for you version yourself. Locate DataDLC39_0.pak and open the archive with 7zip. Inside DataDLC39_0.pak goto Data/scripts. Edit prison_mode.scr.(right click on it and go to edit) Increase RewardTierTime and RewardRoomTimes for default, hard and nightmare for how much you want(RewardTierTime(480) -> RewardTierTime(48880)). Now update archive(it's automatic when you close the editor). Now play the game. (offline).
