- Did you installed the mod correctly? - Check if there are other mods installed, if so, are they editing the same file? (if so you must merge it properly or choose which mod you prefer) - Is the game up to Date & are you using the un-cut version? (usually german versions are cut, at least it was on release like that) - Did you already tried playing a new save file? loading mods on older save files sometimes causes problems as well.

Please do a x10 durability or explain how to do a x10 durability! EDIT: i found a way you just gotta change Param("MeleeWpnDurabilityMulReduce", "1.0"); to Param("MeleeWpnDurabilityMulReduce", "0.1");
I posted this issue in the comments on the Unlimited Stamina mod I'm using (which also isn't working). Two respondents said such mods are disabled during booster events, such as the Bloody Summer event running now (ends/7/7/22). Guess I'll hold off playing until the 8th and see if the issue persists.
Well, the Bloody Summer event has ended. The unlimited Stamina mod I've got installed that WAS NOT working works fine now. You mod continues to be non functional. I thought maybe it was because both mods modified the same file, and the Stamina mod had a lower number (Data4 vs Data8 for yours). I've previously read in the event of a conflict the modified Data file with the lower number would take priority and the Data file with the higher number would not work. so, I changed your s to 4 and his to 6. Same result; Stamina mod working, durability not?! Can you tell me what file your mod modified? Was it the player.scr, or another? TY!
UPDATE: It's definitely a conflict. I deleted his mod and yours works fine! Any idea what tool/app I need to attempt a combining/reconciliation of these two mods? TY!
Hello again, the recent update of the game has made this have a weird bug, or at least all modded files of playervariables.scr. all old versions of this mod now make it so you cant do stealth takedowns, this is an issue with this mod and also the increased takedown range mod, both use this file and well please fix^^. or maybe go in depth on what you change to make weapons unbreakable? am curious^^
To second what Besnia said I'd like to ask how you fixed this issue? I am also having the same problem.
EDIT: I figured it out as well. One of the parameters is missing in the player_variables.scr file.

You will not be able to perform takedowns unless this line is added under the other two. Assuming you are using the unlimited durability mod, I'm not sure if it is broken for the others.
seems the game doesn't use the player_variables.scr anymore, all my modifications like durability, stamina and more all do nothing, even if I replace the file in the original data0.pak. Same with and without new game +
so i keep trying to use your mod, but no matter what i do, i keep losing 1 durability with each hit, i tried other mods too, like the golden Vendor, which works like a charme, but any mod that changes durability so far does nothing sadly im not on NG+, does neither work on my save, nor on a New Game
is it perhaps something regarding the 1.3 update? (tried with your latest version too of course!)

Your mod is not working. Durability on the bat Spike gives us in the game beginning is going down. I'm using your mod with 3 others.

UPDATE: Deleted the Unlimited Stamina mod as a test. No good; durability on bat still going down with every hit.

I've tried modding durability for ng+ myself and it didn't work. It just worked for the regular game :(
/e: it seems that you've only changed the same as I did. And for me it isn't working (I've changed to zero 0.0)
Anything else will be patched by me further gown the line, just need comfirmation.
