My computer says this is a virus! - Antiviruses hate DLLs for various reasons, and will mark third-party DLLs as viruses basically at random.
I'm playing the game on Linux using so-and-so, will your mods work? - Yes, the mods should now work on Linux.
Will using mods get me banned? - No, you cannot use these particular mods unless EasyAntiCheat is disabled and EAC won't retroactively punish you for disabling it (I can't guarantee that it won't react to altered saves).
Can I play online with mods? - As stated, you can only play with these mods if EAC is disabled, this forces the game into offline mode.
Can I use this mod with this-and-that? - Most likely, you will have to test for yourself. Just make sure you don't have other things modifying the same memory (Flawless Widescreen, etc).
If you have any issues, then please comment below with the contents of log.txt for the relevant mod(s).

Recommend backing up the .exe before trying this. This worked for me to unlock elden ring's fps but I'm not sure yet if this works for everybody. Also don't know how this effects the cloth physics or I-frames yet but let me know how that works out.
If there was any potential liabilty to damaging your pc for palying at over 60 fps, no company would do it. FromSoft is one of the few big devs (I can't think of any otherright now) that lock their games to 60
This did change with armoured core so I hope this is the beginning of unlocking the framerate in future games
Just so you know, monitors can't get damaged for running at higher hz. even if the monitor can only show 60 fps, you would just get a load of screen tearing. Also, if overheating was an issue, 4k and ray tracing wouldn't be a thing as those features also increase load on the gpu
This mod introduce a lot of stutterring to the game that otherwise dont occour when locked to 60, mainly on open areas... at least on a 3070... interiors ran fine most of the time, but i still se some random sttuters...
This is NOT true. This hasn't been true since Sekiro, at least, it seems since Sekiro higher frame rates do not break the game nor do they alter the physics.
This keeps getting repeated around by people who have held onto it from the original dark souls series. Stop repeating information that is not true.
Running a 3070 here, no stuttering at all, this mod turned the game from a stuttery mess for me into silky smoothness. Perhaps you're running a mod that interferes or something in the background of your system.
for some strange reason this same thing happens when I use M&K, however when I'm using my controller it's smooth as butter. Not sure what could cause that, but fortunately I only use controller for souls games so I've never needed to bother with a fix.
To those of you wanting to have unlocked frame rates, just know that Special K has an FPS unlocker specifically for Elden Ring built in. Check out their wiki under Custom Mods for more info.
i use this mod along with mod engine 2 and seamless co op, it capped at 144fps (my hz monitor) and i didn't find any vscync option in the config, any idea how to uncap it ?
you don't need to uncap it. your monitor can't show more fps than its hz, so it would be useless and only create screen tearing. its only a good thing that its capped at your monitor hz, because that's also what v-sync does :)
nvm it seem if i play the game with borderless window the fps capped at 144, but when i switch to fullscreen i can reach more fps :) tho it depend on which area, in indoor i can reach 200fps
Does anyone else have problem with GPU and CPU utilization? I set the FPS limit in the config on 180fps, but I am getting way lower FPS around 60-90, yet my GPU and CPU runs only on 30% max.
Edit: Nvm, those were fan speeds and also low FPS because of Ray-tracing
I've read in some threads and saw some youtube videos saying that it wont. It seems that the parry window is no longer fixed absolute frames but instead a portion of milliseconds based on the current FPS, in Elden Ring, unlike DS1 or DS2. So if you have 30fps it'll be around 12 frames, if you have 60fps it'll be around 24 frames, if you have 120fps it'll be around 48 frames, etc.
I haven't tested this myself so take this info with a grain of salt. If someone could test it and upload their tests we would be really thankful (IDK how to do it myself otherwise I'd do it gladly).
getting quite a few crashes and and the mountaintops of giants entrance floor doesnt exist anymore. Only using this mod and downloaded Elden Ring clean and new. Help would be appreciated.

Has this been tested by anyone?

I'm playing on Linux (Nobara distro) and I'm still capped at 60. I've tried borderless window mode as well at 1080p. I'm playing on a 3070.
In addition to that, I've also tried moving the mod from the game folder to the "mods" folder.
Only using this mod and downloaded Elden Ring clean and new.
Help would be appreciated.
