After some tinkering I discovered a few things I'd like to share with those who are interested in using this mod.
1. This mod is of the old, obviously. There's been two full term US presidencies since this came out for crying out loud.
2. If you've used any custom race mods such as Nanako, IKAROS, or similar that requires Race Customizer, then you might want to make sure that it's un installed in order to use this. Race Customizer isn't necessary if you aren't playing as a none human race anyways
3. As of this post I have't managed to get this to work on female player characters yet. I'll try to find a fix that works and give another update to this soon.
While it's not exactly lore friendly (Which half of the nexus mods isn't) I would love to see if someone could revitalize this to updated standards and maybe even expand upon it.
If anyone wants to use this but still have the newer hair colors from LMCC, follow these steps using NMM (unless you want to go the more difficult way).
1. Install M-Face. (If you have LMCC and/or the update installed, overwrite the esp when asked) 2. Go to the Fallout 4 Data folder and rename the LooksMenu Customization Compendium.esp to something else (I recommend M-Face.esp). 3. Go back to NMM and uninstall M-Face. 4. If you don't have LMCC and the Update installed do it now. 5. Reinstall M-Face and do not overwrite the esp. 6. Place the M-Face.esp (or whatever you named it as) below LMCC and don't forget to turn them on.
Could it b e that this resets make-up options? When i change the look of a companion and teleport/fast travel or save/load the game all the changes are gone
As a note: If the renamed M-Face esp doesn't show up in your load order once you do all of this, try restarting NMM first. I had to do that and this worked like a charm, thank you.
@0Bjhansen0 I would never have even tried that workaround. I didn't even know you could do things that way. And I just love the results. This is the best of both worlds without having to choose. Omg, I could go on and on. I'll spare you, I guess...
Just rename the esp file before installing. You dont even need to extract it, just open the archive and change the file, install it and sort it after LMCC.
Could you please help me? I wish you'd made this more specific, i want to know if i need to overwrite the original looks menu customization compendium.esp for the M-face esp one that comes in the download or is it the other way around? Or do i just rename the LMCC esp to something and then add in the M face esp and organize the order after that?
I've just been running through this method of installation as well as several other variations and came up with no results. Any thoughts or recommendations?
I conscribe I MEAN HIRE all the Fair Elven Folk I encounter into servitude I MEAN EMPLOYMENT and send them all to a place I call "Mystic Pines"! There I shall build my empire I MEAN SETTLEMENT of Elvin slaves I MEAN EMPLOYEES!
Idk how to get this to work. My character face and body are two different colors. Face is darker than the body which the body looks white for some reason. Anyone help?
I think it's an abandoned mod. I've tried years ago to get the mod author to respond to getting the 'elven ear's to work, as there is no selectable dropdown that's supposed to be there for me to extended the ears like an elf as advertised. Sorry bud :(
edit: I wrote a guide to patch this mod while blackout drunk and left some step out that seems to have been vital, since trying to recreate the patch I made while drunk using the steps I included doesn't work, and the patch contains so many dirty edits and just weird stuff that I can't figure it out from looking at it, so I'm just gonna delete this and I'll replace the guide when I figure out what drunk me knew that sober me doesn't. edit 2: I give up, I overwrote the working file by accident at some point, and I don't think getting this mod working is worth the effort of figuring it out again, I don't even know if the working file really worked or not, since I can't test it now that I'm sober. It broke the pip boy 2000 lmcc patch anyway, hence why I tried to fix it and broke it.
THis doesnt work, even renaming the ESp doesnt make it work beacuse there are file conflicts. I would love to use this but i dont know what to do and im using Vortex.
Same boat. Literally nothing added in by this mod shows up for me after installation. The option to select them is there, but they don't actually do anything to the character.

Much love, respect, and a BIG...
PHAT...
THANK YOU!
MUAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA
Installed LCC, M-Brow, and M-Face in that order.
I chose to overwrite LCC with both M-Face and M-Brow
Vortex then combined all three into one esp in my load order.
I put the ESP at the bottom of my load order and for the love of food make sure you SORT your mods.
Worked for me, hope it helps!
